what all can you tell me about the 4.7 liter v8 i recently bought a 2001 dodge durango that does not run i dont know if it didnt run or they just disassembled the motor I bought the truck as a repo is the 4.7 a good or bad motor

The 4.7L is a good motor, it is more powerful than the 5.2L and almost as powerful as teh older 5.9L. It likes the high revs, upto 6grand stock, the others do not like the high rpms. It is a smooth, strong, and powerful motor.
