Asked by Sean Jan 15, 2017 at 08:11 PM about the 2002 Dodge Durango

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It's starts and drives fine, doesn't
overheat, it just won't start after I shut it
off after it gets warm up, what would
cause that

Does it crank and not start - or not even crank? If it doesn't crank, the starter motor may be getting heat-soaked by the exhaust, especially if there is a missing heat shield.
