85 C 10 motor swap

Asked by TheMoreHorsePowerThe... Jul 20, 2017 at 02:20 PM about the 1985 Chevrolet C/K 10

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys, I was wondering what years of 350
engines would fit in my step father's 85 chevrolet
C-10. I don't want to get a motor with the wrong
mounts, the newer the motor the better.

I mis-read your post. The C10 is another thing. I would go with a small block V8 from the same year truck if possible due to smog requirements. A newer engine is certainly possible but electronically controlled engines and transmissions are more involved swaps.
