output shaft too long

I had a transmission built by Monster in Florida. I live in Mass. the output shaft is 2" too long. What are my options? They want a 25-50% restocking fee and for me to pay for return shipping so that's not an option

Ask them if the tail piece can be swapped out. You could possibly have the drive shaft shortened,
