1977 CJ7, what's it worth?

Asked by JEMJ Jul 01, 2018 at 03:27 PM about the 1977 Jeep CJ-7

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Traded a friend for his 77 CJ7,  the jeep has all
Chevy running gears, Chevy 350 V8, 400 turbo
trans, 12 bolt 342 limited slip 1/2 ton axles that he
said was all rebuilt, no proof though. Rough
country lift. Runs great, still has jeep drive shafts.
It's not perfect by no means but tub and frame are
amazing with the exception of a few small holes in
the floor boards...very minimal. Body is also solid,
good paint job, alot of new parts. Drives good, runs
60mph with no issues. Looks like it's never been
offraod. Anyone out there that could put a ball
park price on it's worth? Thanks, Josh.

Look for similar Jeeps for sale on Craig's List. Just a guess but maybe $10,000.

Thanks. Seems like there isn't a real set price on these Jeep's. Market for them seems good though for where I'm located.

I built 2 similar Jeeps as yours. I would guess he had around $20,000 in this Jeep. Without seeing your Jeep, I would say market value to be $9,000to $11,000.
