442 running sluggish

I have a 1970 442 the engine runs ok for when I
drive it , it’s running sluggish not nearly to the
Potential is capable of, any suggestions?spark Plug
Wires, Spark plugs ,Distributor cap,fuel filter,oil ,
and transmission fluid have been checked and
changed,it struggles to get to 30 mph I’m not sure
what’s wrong other than transmission

Check the engine compression and ignition timing. Maybe your engine is worn out.
