Can I just put another engine in my Classic Car

Asked by jimsmith6969 May 17, 2016 at 04:40 PM about the 1971 Lincoln Continental

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay.
I have a 1971 lincoln continental Mark III. The engine is nearing the end of its
life. Instead of looking for a 'parts' car... Can I just buy a new engine from
somewhere?

If the car is really nice and you don't mind spending some money on it why not have the original engine rebuilt?
