what do I need to remove before dropping the oil pan on a 61 ford falcon 2dr 144c.i ?

...well the oil filler plug...drain the old oil....the cartridge type filter or spin- on....do not overtorque the new one once all the surface cleaning is done~

You will also have to remove the under body brace if yours is equipped. (Most 61's are) Bock the motor while removing it, then with the brace removed, re-attach the nuts to the mounting bolts, then you can remove the blocks. You will need to remove the 2 idler arm bolts also ad drop it down. Makes the job a lot easier to reinstall the pan

I removed all bolt holding the oil sump xr6 ford falcon au111 2002 but still stuck.please need help
