2004 ford mustang 3.9L v6

Ok so it wont start unless you put starter fluid first but  
it will only run for a couple of seconds before it dies  
and if you press the gas it dies and the battery dont
stay charged for long (new battery too)

Check the fuel pump pressure , sounds like a bad fuel pump , make sure you have voltage to the fuel pump first
