Following the introduction of the INEOS Grenadier Wagon, the Quartermaster midsize pickup truck, introduced as a 2025 model, has a traditional body-on-frame construction, and it prioritizes durability and off-road capability over on-road comfort. Its primary competitor is the much less expensive Jeep Gladiator. The 2026 INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster has three trims: Fieldmaster, Trialmaster, and Black Edition.

What’s New for the 2026 INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster
Even though the INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster was all-new in 2025, it still received some significant changes for this model year. The biggest change is the steering box hardware, which tightens the turning radius and improves the on-pavement steering. Other significant changes include an improved HVAC system for faster heating and cooling, updated advanced driver-assistance systems, and a new Black Edition trim.
Design
The INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster has an upright boxy stance that is reminiscent of the original Land Rover Defender with a little bit of the modern Mercedes-Benz G-Class thrown in—only it has a pickup truck bed on the back. It has a body-on-frame chassis, available safari windows, flared-out fenders, and beefy all-terrain tires. Standard wheels are 17-inch steelies, but 17-inch alloys and 18-inch steel or alloy wheels are also available, depending on trim. In addition to the Black Edition trim, the Grenadier Quartermaster offers a Black Pack on both trims that includes black grille strips, black roof rails, and dark front and rear skid plates.
Powertrain
The 2026 Grenadier Quartermaster is equipped with a BMW 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine that delivers 282 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. This is paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. This vehicle has permanent four-wheel drive (4WD), a two-speed transfer case, and a center differential lock. The Trialmaster models, which are designed for the most extreme off-road conditions, also offer front and rear locking differentials. The EPA estimates that the Quartermaster will get 14 mpg in the city and on the highway. Max towing capacity is about 7,700 pounds.

Interior
The interior of the INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster has an airplane cockpit feel with all the switches and dials on the roof and center console. Black leather Recaro seats are standard on the Quartermaster. Black-and-gray leather options are available. Though the Quartermaster doesn’t come with a traditional moonroof, it does offer safari windows, which are two manual removable glass panels above the driver and passenger seats. The Quartermaster seats five passengers with minimal interior cargo storage, and it has a 5-foot pickup bed.
Technology
The 2026 Grenadier Quartermaster comes standard with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen controlled by touch or a rotary dial, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED headlights, and USB-A and USB-C ports. Available tech features include power heated exterior mirrors, heated windshield washer jets, puddle lamps, ambient lighting, and a compass with an altimeter. A premium sound system option adds a subwoofer and uprated amplifier to the base system. One of the coolest tech features is the standard Pathfinder navigation system, which will allow you to follow an existing .GPX file (Follow Path), record a new .GPX file (Record Path), or manually record a route (Roadbook). It’s also worth noting that because the Quartermaster is a pickup, it does offer a 400W AC outlet in the bed.
