The Genesis GV60 was launched in the U.S. for the 2023 model year and was the first dedicated EV in the brand’s lineup. The 2026 GV60 sits in the compact luxury electric crossover segment, and its primary competitors are the Tesla Model Y and the Audi Q4 e-tron. Alternatives include the less expensive Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6, which sit on the same platform. The 2026 Genesis GV60 has four trims: RWD, AWD, Advanced AWD, and Performance AWD.

What’s New for the 2026 Genesis GV60
The Genesis GV60 gets a mid-cycle refresh for 2026 that includes revised bumper and grille designs, new headlights, a refreshed interior with a new D-cut steering wheel, a combined 27-inch OLED digital cluster and infotainment screen, a bigger 84-kWh battery with 306 miles of range, and a standard North American Charging Standard (NACS) port. There's also a new paint color—Tromso Green—while Matterhorn White Matte is no longer available.
Design
The GV60 has compact proportions and fastback coupe styling, with flush door handles and the signature Genesis dual-blade headlights and taillights. It comes standard with 19-inch wheels, but 20- and 21-inch wheels are available on upper trims. The GV60 doesn’t have any package options or appearance packages, and the only exterior accessory is a set of roof rail cross bars.
Powertrain
All 2026 GV60s are equipped with an 84-kWh battery pack, and the base trim is the only model with a single-motor and rear-wheel-drive (RWD). It gets an EPA-estimated range of 306 miles. The other three trims come standard with dual motors and all-wheel drive (AWD). Both the AWD and Advanced AWD models deliver 314 horsepower, but the Performance AWD model produces up to 483 hp with Boost Mode and 429 hp without it. Each of the AWD models gets bigger wheels, and with bigger wheels and more power, the range drops. The Advanced AWD gets up to 282 miles of range, and the Advanced and Performance AWD models get 267 and 252 miles of range, respectively.

Interior
The 2026 Genesis GV60 interior is minimalist, with a large dash screen as the visual focal point, but it also has separate HVAC and audio controls and physical buttons. It is a five-passenger compact crossover, so there isn't an abundance of cargo space—there are 24 cubic feet behind the second row, and 54.7 cubic feet with the seats folded flat. There is a frunk (front trunk) but it's small—barely large enough for a computer bag or charging cables. The 2026 GV60 comes standard with leatherette seating surfaces, eight-way power-adjustable heated front seats, a fixed-glass roof and dual-zone climate controls. Upper trims add features such as leather seats, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and acoustic glass on the rear windows.
Technology
The GV60 comes standard with the 27-inch OLED screen familiar from much of the rest of the Genesis lineup. Standard tech features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, Genesis connected services, an automatic-open trunk, fingerprint authentication, and a premium eight-speaker audio system. Available features include a driver’s seat massager, a rear-camera mirror, a head-up display, a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, active noise cancellation, and a smart key.
