What’s New for the 2026 Ford F-150
There are no big design changes because the F-150 was refreshed in 2024, but there are some significant tech and package updates. First, Ford added a Lobo Package to the STX trim, which is a street-focused performance package with a lowered ride height, 22-inch gloss-black wheels, a black grille, and dual exhaust tips. Additionally, 2026 sees BlueCruise available on more trims, and the Ford Connectivity Package includes a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot. There's also a new Agate Black Metallic paint and a Platinum Satin Appearance Package.
Design
The 2026 F-150 has a classic Ford grille, with specific design treatments for each trim. For example, there's an orange accent bar across the center of the Tremor trims, and the Raptor gets amber LED daytime running lights and marker lights, while lower trims have chrome or black accents. Standard wheels on the base XL are 17-inch silver-plated alloys, but 18-, 20-, and 22-inch wheels in various finishes are available on other trims. The F-150 offers Regular, SuperCab, and SuperCrew cabin configurations as well as 5.5-, 6.5-, and 8-foot beds. There are also the following trim-dependent appearance packages: XLT Chrome Appearance, FX Off-Road, STX Lobo, Lariat Black Appearance, and Platinum Satin Appearance.
Powertrain
The 2026 F-150 is all about powertrain choices. If buyers want it, Ford likely offers it on the F-150. In fact, this full-size truck comes with six different engine options, including a 325-horsepower 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6, a 400-hp 5.0-liter V8, a 400-hp 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, a 430-hp hybrid 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, a 450-hp high-output 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, and a 720-hp 5.2-liter supercharged V8. The standard drivetrain is rear-wheel drive (RWD), while four-wheel drive (4WD) is available. Maximum towing capacity is 13,500 pounds, achievable with the 4WD SuperCrew models equipped with the standard 3.5-liter V6. Fuel economy varies widely depending on the trim and the powertrain, but the non-Raptor trims return between 15 mpg and 22 mpg in the city and between 20 and 25 mpg on the highway. The Raptor gets 14 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway, with the 720-hp Raptor R returning 10 mpg and 15 mpg, respectively. In addition to a multitude of powertrains, the F-150 also offers varying levels of off-road capability from the FX4 Off-Road Package with extra skid plates and an electronic-locking rear differential to the Tremor and Raptor trims with bigger tires, unique hardware, extra drive modes, and more power.

Interior
The Regular cab option seats up to three passengers. The SuperCab and SuperCrew Cab offer seating for up to six if you opt for the front bench seat, available on lower trims. Cloth seats are standard on the XL, but vinyl is available, while leatherette and leather options are offered on higher trims. A power sliding rear glass window is standard on SuperCab and SuperCrew models and a moonroof is available starting at the XLT trim. Some trims offer bed storage boxes and interior storage includes a large center console bin, rear under-seat storage, and fold-up rear seats for rear-floor cargo space.
Technology
Standard features include a 12-inch infotainment screen, Ford’s Sync 4 with enhanced voice recognition, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Available features include power-adjustable pedals, a wireless phone charger, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, push-button start, ambient lighting, adaptive cruise control, head-up display, 12-inch digital gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate controls, and two different premium B&O sound systems.
