What’s New for the 2026 Audi e-Tron GT
For 2026, the Audi e-Tron GT gets minor updates. Quick-ratio “Sport direct steering” and rear-axle steering are now standard on the S e-Tron GT. Black exterior trim and black mirrors are also now standard on the S trim level, and the RS e-Tron GT gets standard 21-inch wheels. The e-Tron received more significant changes for 2025, including a styling update, a larger battery, and more horsepower.
Design
Few cars are as sexy as the 2026 Audi e-Tron GT. It sits low and wide, with sleek lines that suggest a sports car more than a sports sedan. The nose features a body-color faux grille set within a black fascia with large air intakes. Up top, squinting matrix LED headlights are standard, and the step-up trim and RS model have laser lighting. The body tucks in behind the front fenders, creating air vents at the door line, while the rear fenders sport pronounced hip character lines. The roof, which is carbon fiber on the RS, curves from front to rear in a fastback shape, and the rear has LED taillights that add animation on the higher trim. The RS features slightly more aggressive front and rear bumpers. Standard black exterior trim on the S model includes the window surrounds and Audi logo, while the RS gets Anthracite Gray Audi rings. It’s all set on standard 20-inch wheels, with 21s optional on the S and standard on the RS. A Forged Carbon package for the RS has a dark carbon roof panel, and forged carbon door sill inlays, exterior trim, mirror housings, and interior inlays.
Powertrain
The Audi e-Tron GT is powered by a pair of electric motors, one on each axle for standard all-wheel drive (AWD). The S model’s motors create 670 horsepower and 546 pound-feet of torque, while the RS’s motors up output to 912 hp and 757 lb-ft of torque. The motors draw power from a 97-kWh battery that provides 300 miles of range with the S’s standard 20-inch wheels, 294 miles with the S’s available 21-inch wheels, and 278 miles for the RS. With the 20s, the S model is EPA-rated at 91 MPGe city, 88 MPGe highway, and 90 MPGe combined. With the 21s, it’s rated at 89/85/88 MPGe. The RS is rated at 85/82/84 MPGe. The e-Tron’s 800-volt electrical architecture allows it to charge at up to 320 kW, which can get it from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes. A 9.6-kW onboard charger allows the e-Tron GT to charge to full in 12 hours on a Level 2, 240-volt home charger.

Interior
The Audi S e-Tron GT seats five on standard synthetic leather and synthetic suede upholstery, while the RS has extended Nappa leather covering the seats, dash, doors, and center console. Every e-Tron features heated 14-way power-adjustable front seats, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and three-zone automatic climate control. The RS also has a heated steering wheel, ventilated and massaging front sport seats with pneumatic adjustments for the legs and side bolsters, and heated rear seats. All of those upgrades are available for the S. Cargo space is 9.2 cubic feet, which is on the small side but decent given the S e-Tron GT's sporty nature, and that can be expanded with the standard 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats and the 1.8-cubic-foot front trunk.
Technology
Audi equips its sporty electric sedan with its 12.3-inch Digital Cockpit instrument cluster and 10.1-inch MMI infotainment touchscreen. It also comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, trials of navigation and satellite radio, and a 710-watt, 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system.
