Its a good car, running well and in great condition. I compared it with older Honda Civics and Honda Accords and the value came out the highest for the mileage and Carfax history.Jul 21, 2024

I like the simplicity of the cab. It is not over wrought with bells and whistles and it serves the purpose of comfortable and safe transportation. The exterior design is very sporty and good to look at. I am very happy with the vehicle overallMay 26, 2015

I loved this car because of some of the outstanding features it had. The Bluetooth system, iPod adapter and key-fobs for key-less entry and start up were amazing. I love having those features in a vehicle.
Any owner of this vehicle cannot be anything but completely satisfied. Mar 15, 2015

I have this car for two years. I used it for city and freeway driving. Four cylinder engine, but strong enough to handle AC here at all the time. Fuel efficiency proven, takes up to 380 miles city and freeway driving, combined! It does not take of the power with AC running at all the time, which has surprised me with 2.0 engine. Automatic CVT transmission is so reliable and smooth up the perfection. It is very stable and good at any driving condition.Jan 03, 2014

I like the look and feel. The sentra has come a long way. It has a lot more trunk space than you would think from the outside. The CVT transmission is great, makes the ride and acceleration nice and smooth. Jul 27, 2013

This is a very good and reliable car. Would purchase it again. The car has the CRT transmission and you never notice it shifting gears. The trunk is very large and the rear seats are 40/60 and let down for even more spaceJun 15, 2013

I like how this car looks but I think I'm alone in that opinion. A lot of people have said that they think it looks very bland and unstylish. I like the square shape of the exterior alone with the sharp cut edges. The darkened headlights and spoiler on the SR trim improve the appeal. After I first purchased this car I noticed a clunk after a minute of driving. After a while this faded away and the dealer said it was a normal noise. It was a little disconcerting though. The displays are informative and the steering wheel controls are easy to use. The drivers seat is a little short and it doesn't fully support my legs but this isn't terribly uncomfortable. The rear seats feel the same way, however they have a redeeming factor. The 40/60 split is awesome and greatly improves the already impressive cargo capacity of this car. I was able to transport an entire 50 inch TV in the trunk with the seats folded down. Great for a small car. The car is very responsive. The steering is very tight and allows the driver to feel in complete control.Mar 19, 2013

I have had my SR for about 4 months now after my beloved 2002 Solara TRD was totalled by an 18 year old new driver. I had considered purchasing the SE-R with the 2.5L engine, but opted for the SR model as it was more economical and had the same body (with sideskirts and smoked headlights/tails). So far I am very pleased with my purchase. I scored a heck of deal since they were trying to move stock because the revamped 2013 is coming out soon. Power is steady and smooth with the torquey 2L engine combined with the CVT. Speaking of the CVT: it took some time to get used to 'no gears', but I am now a fan. Lots of interior room combined with lots of features - heated seats, bluetooth, hands free - really makes it an enjoyable commuter car. I find it very agile, quiet, combined with satifactory power. I think its a hate or love look, both inside and out - of course I am latter. I like the slab sided, squared corners and chopped rear end.Aug 20, 2012

Amazing performance for such a small car. Terrific workmanship, even
though the wheel covers could be better. Love the styling! Aggressive and
refined at the same time! Paying so much less for gas than my SUV and
currently haven't had to have any maintenance done yet. A great driver to!
I love it!Jun 24, 2012

I bought this car purely for the CVT. Wanted an automatic and all the
other compacts whine at 3000+ RPM going highway speed. It has a
decent amount of horsepower for a compact car (2.0 L, 140 HP). When
I first bought the car the brakes were misaligned. After alignment, they
squeaked, but the dealer was eager to resolve the issue and made a
good impression as a result. Cost of ownership is low, I usually spend
about $100/month on gas, and drive about 700-800 miles each
month. Besides the brakes, it hasn't needed any other work. It handles
well and has a good turn radius. It struggles to pass and accelerate
into traffic without punching the gas pedal, but I guess that's the
nature of the CVT. It does great on the highway (easily 30+ mpg) and
rides at a comfortable and quiet 2000 RPM going 70 mph.Dec 28, 2010

Performance wise its not fast but it handling is good. Quality is not perfect but
pretty good, Appearance is very good, cost of ownership, gas mileage is great in
the city it gets around 25'ish and on the h.way around 36-38'ish, and maintenance
is not that expensive and its not that hard to work on it too, its a fun car to drive.Nov 08, 2010

I wish I had gotten an SE-R, but I couldn't find one. I'm improving performance soon by installing coilovers and getting fully bolted by next year. There's also a supercharger in development that I may get when my warranty is up. The car is rly peppy and gets good gas mileage, so intend on keeping it no matter what. Unless I total it...lol.Aug 31, 2010

Performance is good for a cheap car. 215hp with I/E. Build quality could be better though. Appearance is great. I get a lot of compliments on it. Aftermarket support is somewhat lacking though. Overall good car, fun to drive and I would recommend it to anyone.Jan 03, 2010

gr8 car...It's worth every single penny for the price that I paid....
The sound system is the best feature and car is very fuel efficient. The maintenance doesn't cost much and make sure that you don't buy the extended warranty... Sep 02, 2009

before purchasing,I drove and researched civic,corolla,and elantra;the corolla is good,though outdated;the elantra was,well,lets just say it was'nt my cup of tea....however,the sentra,w/leather,power everything,digital readouts for distance to empty,mpg,etc.,did it for me.Try it,you'll see.Aug 11, 2009

Performance was great for the price, nothing like that for $20,000+, great build quality, gets great milleage for 177hp engine 8.7L/100km, it is the ultimate budget pocket rocket, i would like the stability control and traction control but i think that will be added soonJul 27, 2009

Overall, I do love this little base car!
I bought mine certified,pre-owned with 48k miles on it. It's only 1 year old, even tho it has 48k miles, those were mostly highway miles since it was a company car. I see it as perfectly broken in.
Base cars from other car brands did NOT include powerwindows or doorlocks, but MINE DOES! (Yay!)
The ride is nice. Very quiet and has a nice new hum to it.
I enjoy the overall appearance. Wonderful for me, since I am in college and need something with great looks and great gas milage. The price was amazing as well! I could not have asked for better price, looks, gas milage, and looks.
The get-up-and-go of the car is a little less from what I am use to, only owned one car previously, but am enjoying the smooth ride. I just bought it today, and already people were checking it out. (Gotta love that bold, blood-red color! Hehe.)Apr 11, 2009

I love my car because it's awesome. For the price I've payed for, it has the best performance. It's also the fastest car for that class. It's really good on gas and since I got 6 years of warranty, I won't have to worry too much about maintance. It's really fun to drive since it's standard.Aug 20, 2008

This was my first car, purchased new in June 2008. It was plenty zippy for me, handling was decent, and it had a comfortable ride. Fuel economy was on par with other cars in it's class, and the interior styling was great. One thing that bothered me is that there is a rattle between the door panel and the edge of the front door (on both sides). I have an appointment scheduled to fix it, but haven't yet solved the problem. Also, the paint seems to be extremely thin all the way around the car. In the first month of ownership I had two rock chips. I'd also gotten a rock chip on the windshield during the second month of ownership. More than likely because I drive on a road constantly full of rock haulers.
Overall, it's a solid little car with decent build quality, a fresh apperance, and plenty of power and fuel economy out of it's 2 liter engine. The price I paid was well below what it's competitors cost (I paid $13,900 for the 2.0S with a six speed manual). Would I buy it again? More than likely. It's affordable, and gets the job done.Aug 15, 2008

Decent performance for a fair price. A bit roomy compared to the B15 generation. 200hp 180 lb/ft of torque, 6-speed, decent suspension. All in all a good bang for the buck.Mar 26, 2008

Interior has full sport seats. Paddle shifting when in sport mode-but it's quicker in "auto". Dash board has stander RPM, engine temp, speed gauages etc, but alos includes accelerometer and oil pressure. Keeps track of trip time, mileage, average speed and Date To Empty. Runs on 17" Allow Rims (225/45s) with 4 wheel Disk and ABS (stops on a dime-nickle for wet roads). Sound System is better than fair, but comes with Aux jack for MP3 or IPod playing. Sun/moon Roof is pretty sweet.Feb 12, 2008

Limited Slip Diff.
200BHP
180 Ft Lb. of Torque
Stiff hard suspension
Low Profile Tires
The car handles well in the turns, comparing it to prior Spec-V's this is definately a great improvement.
Other Reviews call it top heavy, but pushing it hard through the same turns as older spec-v's it can take them at a faster speeds.
Inside feels like a sports car.
Bucket Seats hold you in as you slam on the brakes through the front end into a turn and gas it out.
Reverse is a little confusing at first, it is moved right next to first gear, but a Reverse Lockout is located on the Shift Knob, so if you pull up on that by accident you may place it into reverse.
Body of the Current Sentra's so it is short and tall, but it looks fast.
Spec-V is only in a manual, but if you are going to be buying a sports car thats the way to go.
Interior is Black Bucket seats with Red Stitching and SE-R embroidered onto the Front seats. Red Seatbelts to match.
Overall its a wonderful car for the money.Dec 30, 2007

This is an outstanding value in it's class. I drove all the Honda and Toyota competitors before buying this one. I began with a bit of apprehension about the CVT transmission but it won me over completely. Extremely smooth. Interior is comfortable and spacious. Steering wheel mounted controls eliminate the need to take eyes off the road. Dash layout and controls are excellent and intuitive. Excellent exterior styling.Dec 30, 2007
