Nissan Sabre 16Gx 1994 model. Acceleration is wicked pulled a New Ford Fiesta St with it! Braking just as good but doesn't have abs! Handling is excellent, ecspially on a turn! No rattles or squeaks ever on this baby! The exterior has got Tsw mags with velosity tyres! Interior everything is blue! New car seatcovers, racing steeringwheel. Gas mileage about 7.2liters on a 100km! Maintenance is very good never had any major problems with it! It is extremly fun to drive because it fast as well as a great family car for those who prevers it! Oct 28, 2011

In my opinion, one of the best FWD import cars ever made. Light, agile, and still has room for real humans. Comfortable as I've ever been in a sport compact. Beautifully neutral handling until you really push it. Takes a licking, and keeps on ticking.May 23, 2010

Fun little car thats ok on gas, comes turbo in japan so upgradeing a us version is easy, handling is great, as is braking but thats because of my upgrades. To sum it up "Best in class" for model year.Apr 09, 2010

lightweight and sturdy.. runs good considering how little maintenance has been done on it. performance is as you'd expect for a 4-banger; the 5-speed is a lot of fun. solid in corners too, would be better if i had new tires. can't fault this little car, Nissan is legendary for a reason.Dec 27, 2009

Very well balanced, one of the best handling fwd cars ever made. Extremely reliable, left me stranded twice in 5 years, once was previous owners fault, second time i explodered the clutch. Of course the sr20 engine needs no introduction.Dec 14, 2009

A nice sporty little car. Light, quick, nimble, and crash safe. The 2.0L engine in this little car kicks ass with 140 HP and less that 2500lbs, this thing can get up and go! Interior was kind of ugly with a tall shifter and the 14 inch wheels were undersized for the performance of the car.
Really fun with a 7k RPM redline! It likes the revs too!Nov 10, 2009

The best FF I've ever owned and had fun driving. It was truly the unsung king of street tuning in the early to mid 90's. It came second to none in terms of value and price. The engine, SR20de, has been deemed bullet proof. Plus not everyone drives one, so it's as unique as those drawn to it. Sep 04, 2009

You are looking at a semi-rare breed of car. The 1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R is a well known "pocket rocket" among Nissan enthusiasts. This particular SE-R has 234,000 original miles on it's clock and will be receving a ne engine (SR20DE) in February of 2010.Aug 21, 2009

My car is 16 years old, it gets me from point A, to Point B. Its not going to win any Fashion shows, or car events. The car has good reliability, and the only major repair ive had to do it on it was the Alternator going at 120,000. The car averages about 270 miles per fill up, on its small tank. With the light on it costs about 23.00 to fill up. This is a good car to do modding on, as its cheap to find parts for. The only real downers to this car, was at about 90,000 miles the lining in the roof started falling off, and the interior really showed its age. Jul 31, 2009

It would be just an average SE-R without the epic suspension modding. Still a boost over the GA16DE powered Sentras that are boring commuter econo-boxes. The latest thing I have done was swap in B14 B-pillar seat belts to take weight off the doors. May 26, 2009

Well I got mine last may in BC, Canada. Drove it across the country. It now had 234,000 km and still runs great. I'm not sure what trim level mine is, it just says Sentra. Performance is so so, but I know it would be a lot more fun if it had a 5 speed. Its a pretty solid car for its size. So far I've replaced the fuel pump, which I guess can happen to any car. It still has the breaks and tires I bought it with. It is also quite cheap on gas, which you need when you're out of town. It is also a great winter car. I will have my heart set on another Sentra.Jan 25, 2009

I owned this car for 120K miles without a problem until some drunk driver hit me. Fun to drive, great gas mileage. Solid performer for its time. Not much to look at but it was a great car throughout college.Jan 10, 2009

Pure Japanese looks, performance. Engine revved amazingly, and the sound was beautiful. The leather seats, Momo Racing Wheel made it even prettier. Handled like a dream! It was in essence a beautiful machine in every single way. The best car I have ever had. The stereo was also cool, great company in the roads. Gas mileage was great! 220 miles to to the tank... breaks tended to be a little soft sometimes. It was one of the funnest cars to drive. The only thing that I would say was against it apart of the brakes was the fact that some of the engine components were starting to rattle at low rev range, but it was nothing major and was told was normal by a specialist considering the age of the car and miles (100k +). The suspension was good but every 6 months you needed to tighten the chassis and give it a tune up so it would pass the eco tests that we have to run to allow our cars to drive. Never borke down, never game a single issue.Sep 01, 2008

With automatic transmission, the acceleration is grueling. Resistant to shift. Lots of engine noise, and wind noise! Gas mileage is pretty good, it's a 13 gallon tank, and with cruise control it's even better. I can drive about 90 miles (at 70/75 mph) and only use 1/5 of a tank. When it was new, it wasn't a bad looking car. Really boxy, looks better with slightly larger wheels...Jul 21, 2008

Great little cars that have an impressive 2.0L sr20de motor. These motors are fantastic and give equal torque and horsepower unlike many 4 cylinders. These cars are fun and small and do great on gas.Apr 02, 2008

Nissan's '92-'94 Sentra SE-R with its 140hp SR20DE engine, fully independent suspension, and light weight made for a wonderfully tossable, quick little car with incredible turn-in for a front-driver. Under certain circumstances, they could even be made to spin like a rear-drive car. A skilled instructor at a BMW performance driving school tested mine and said it drove like a 3-series. It makes sense then that Nissan advertised the SE-R as an updated BMW 2002. I often wish I still had this little gem.Jan 09, 2008

couple weeks after i purchased car it started losing power and idleing rough.replaced a sensor and that fixed the problem.now windows will not defrost 100 per cent.tried to replace thermostat but didn't see one under housing connected to engine block.bought 2 thermostats from 2 parts stores and both were too big.employee from 2nd parts store said thermostat could be where bottom radiator hose connects to radiator.also have rear passenger side wheel bearing making noise.car only has 110,000 miles on it. The SE-R edition is a rare find. Powered by the SR20DE, it's makes good power with lots of room for improvement. Dec 22, 2007
