Nice car. Drives well. Doesn’t look as nice as previous models, but it’s a mighty fine car with a engine which will get you where you need to go. Lots of space inside. High cabin ceiling height might make it a good option for taller people (but what do I know, I’m fairly short.Mar 09, 2024

Lots of space, love all the windows and unobstructed views. Turns on a dime and it could speed up a bit faster but it does what it needs to do and its amazing on Gas and I can park anywhere Mar 02, 2024

practical, safe, roomy, comfortable, easy controls, no blind spots… sounds boring right? Think again, the manual Sport is extremely fun to drive and handles better than my Golf. Gen 2 is the best car I’ve owned in my 30 years of driving.Mar 05, 2023

It was well appointed. It drove well for what it is. The cargo area ,with the back seats down, is flat and spacious. Great fuel economy is a real plus!Jun 26, 2022

After two months searching and reviewing Japanese cars I purchased this Honda for immaculate, low miles and excellent reliability record ! May 15, 2022

I bought a 2009 Honda Fit Sport to replace a 2013 Honda Fit, which I regretted selling. Since 2009 was the year Honda increased the number of cup holders to 10, I am at a loss to identify any real differences between the two interiors.
The only thing missing is a spare key, which apparently was misplaced along the way.
In summary, from personal experience I find the 2009 Fit an ideal fit for someone looking for an affordable, big on the inside small car.Oct 03, 2021

Very reliable car. I had purchased a Honda Fit in 2013 and used it for business. I have retired the car at 585,018 miles. Because of its reliability, I have replaced my first 2013 Honda Fit with a used 2013 Honda Fit. These are great cars. Jun 27, 2020

This is the perfect car for somebody looking to save money. The car is inexpensive, as low maintenance as a car gets, and requires very few trips to the gas station. Saving money on a car doesnt mean you have to drive something ugly, this car looks great.Jun 29, 2012

I'm moving where I don't need a car and a car is more of a liability. But I would buy this car again in a heartbeat, I love it as much as the day I rolled it off the lot. Ridiculously fun and economical to drive...and the flexible cargo space, sound system, comfortability...great perks!May 16, 2012

I have the Manual Transmission in mine and i think it responds a whole lot better then the Auto Transmission...I test drove both and I was happy with what I got. I love the very versitile way you can configure the interior to Fit almost what ever you need. I get about 38 MPG avg but I also like to get on the gas.. but you can easily get 40+ MPG out of this car. Aug 18, 2011

Snappy little car once you get the rpm's up and the paddle shifters make it a blast in the turns will still maintaining the around town driveability. The intereior is fun and has the essentials plus some extra's. Stereo is rockin! Car handles really well for stock and with little mods it will handle amazing. Intake, exhaust and stiff stuff and this car would be wicked fun. Goood value for the price. Sep 04, 2010

Performance: performance is weak. Had to add the Injen CAI and custom
exhaust. takes off quite fast but needs more
HP. with the CAI and custom exhaust its only putting out about 130HP
Build Quality: no repairs yet.
Appearance: looks lame
Cost of Ownership: good on gas if driven the right way.
Fun Factor: drives nicely.

The Honda Fit is a great little car. It handles well, accelerates well for a 4v engine and brakes great. It's pure Honda quality. Although it's a compact, there is a lot of leg room and is very comfortable for a family of 4. The rear seats fold down so the cargo space is comparable to the Element but seats 5 instead of 4, is less $ and great on gas.Dec 04, 2009

Everything about this car met all expectations by my daughter, who will be using the car. The quality is top notch, and the design is ingenious.Nov 14, 2009

Excellent mileage; deceivingly good head and leg room. Lots of space due to "magic seats". Well-designed layout. 10 cupholders ! Love the car. My wife loves it, too.Nov 06, 2009

I Love my new Honda Fit, it is fast & sporty. Has lots of room for having fun on the road, been on a few road trips already and love it, except for the speeding ticket.... lol. It also looks good. Oct 27, 2009

Inexpensive, Reliable, 30+ mpg on every tank so far, opt for
manual trans (the auto drives like a van), total cost of
ownership less than a Prius. Nimble, Light, Tight turning
radius. Highly recommended for a daily driver. loads of space.Sep 30, 2009

Performance: NEED MORE POWER!!!
Build Quality: Sucks for the price. Could've been better built
Appearance: Awesome...except for the long nose. Sport's body kit made the car look less boring
Cost of Ownership: kinda expensive
Fun Factor: Sport auto is FUN...except at the limit :(Sep 05, 2009

I'm 6'2" and 290 pounds. Getting in and out of most subcompacts is a torture for me. Not so with the Fit. I can easily enter and exit this little car. after getting in it is a dream to drive. Very peppy and not nearly as much road noise as I was led to believe. The voice control for the audio and Navigation system is sweet. Much better than I'd hoped for. Country roads love this car as it carves curves like a good sport motorcycle without the lean. The seats surprised me with their comfort on extended trips. At my size they are still quite good. Not a lot of saddle sores afterward. I have the Sport and the suspension is a little bumpier than a full sized auto but since I traded in a 3/4 ton pickup for this, the ride to me is quite smooth. All around I love it. Oh...did I mention the 38 MPG it's giving me when driving it to and from work? Apr 02, 2009
