It is great which is no surprise considering Hondas previous reputation which has currently been tarnished by the problems with its new 1.5 turbo engine. Before buying, I did my research and this is the best year for this model and for me is much better than the newer models. It is comfortable and a treat to drive and I look forward to trips with it in the future.Jan 15, 2023

I compared this car to a Rav 4 as I did my research and test drives. My family has had Hondas and Toyotas so I already was aware of their reliability. I like the features of the navigation screen, the keyless entry, and ease of getting in and out as a senior person. I shopped over a month to find this car, which fits me and my budget . I miss the remote start and power tailgate I had on my 2011 Edge. Jul 16, 2022

I wasn’t originally in the market for a CR-V but the more research and comparing of smaller SUVs, so couldn’t deny the long term benefit of considering one. We purchased one and it is definitely our best car decision we’ve ever made. It doesn’t have the zoomy feel of our last car but the overall feel, quality and features are well worth the extra money. Had the transmission shuttering when shifting from second to third gear. Took to Honda dealership with 80, 500 miles. Was told that the transmission fluid needed to be changed after 30k miles and wasnt done. Since the car had more than 80k miles, repairs would not be covered. I ended up spending for the transmission fluid change and computer update. So far after 2 months, it fixed the problem but my gas mileage (as others have reported) has dropped. Time will tell if the repair will remain fixed. Make sure you get your transmission fluid changed every 30k miles. R Dec 21, 2021

Ive only recently bought the 2016 LX model ( after owning a 2010) so this review is a bit premature. The first thing I noticed those extra 5 ponies can really be felt as I always felt my 10 was a bit underpowered. Having a bad back,I also adore heated seats. The gas mileage is supposed to be better but Ive yet to see that and truth be known I was never thrilled with it. This vehicle has a bit more cargo space due to a more practical folding down of the rear seat and thats a good thing. The main flaw Ive seen thus far, and its a substantial one, is that due to the shape of the rear side window those shoulder checks for the blind spot is now useless. Jan 03, 2021

I have owned three CR-V vehicles previously, buying used units then driving them to 200,000. Then a couple years ago I retired my CR-V for a Toyota Rav-4. While it was a solid, sporty vehicle, it just did not have the ride, fit or finish of a CR-V. Even my exten-sively researched new tires did not solve the jolting Rav-4 ride. Every bump jerked us, es-pecially those in back. Therefore, after test driving many vehicles and analyzing their value proposition, I for the first time in my life, traded in a car, moving back to another CR-V. It’s just classier, more polished, and smoother. My wife can again apply her makeup without fear. I too can drive co-workers to lunches without feeling slightly embarrassed. Apr 30, 2020

This car has lots of cargo space and leg room. I am 64 and fit just right in the drivers seat. This is with the seat all the way back and most of the way down. A taller person might have issues. It has lots of head room and the Moon/ Sun Roof is a nice feature. The back seats fold nicely with a single pull of a lever and fold flat at the same level as the rear cargo area. The rear seats slide forward and back and the back has limited adjustment. With the front seat almost fully back the rear seat provides enough leg room for this 64 frame. Finally the car handles well and is smoother than other SUVs in this class and the 4 cylinder engine has lots of get up and go. As with all cars in this class, the ECO mode diminishes the pep previously mentioned but is acceptable when driving down the interstate. Excellent Car. Apr 25, 2020

Typical Honda reliability. I particularly like the AWD feature. Even though we are in Florida, it definitely gives a sure-footed ness in heavy rain and crosswind conditions. I anticipate it would be super in icy or snowy situations as well. Great gas mileage! Even with the full-time AWD, we have gotten as high as 33.5 on road trips. About 27 in town. A/C in auto is quiet and draft-free. Love this car.Aug 12, 2014
