The Ford fiesta is a very good fit for me as I went from a V8 to a four-cylinder car so far $36 fills up my gas tank, which is great. Last me about two weeks The car, roomie, luxurious, and very reliable.Dec 20, 2024

I really appreciate the compact design of the Ford Fiesta. Its over twenty miles per gallon which is actually pretty fuel efficient. Its got everything it needs for a smooth and comfortable ride. Id say its like the little brother of the Ford Focus but its also the cousin of both Mustang and Ford ShogunOct 20, 2024

I test drove this along side a focus ST. The focus fit my needs a little better but if I was a single guy that wanted something good on fuel but an absolute blast to drive, I would have went with the fiesta. Id still consider getting one as a second vehicle some day. Jun 23, 2024

The Ford St is a Car Enthusiast ride, its smaller size and awesome performance by todays standards, make the vehicle a pocket rocket. One will have to remember, with the Ford ST modified suspension, the ride may be too harsh for some. Comparative, the Ford ST and the VW GTI are similar with the Ford ST winning the styling but the GTI winning a more domesticated ride!

This car only had about 134,000 miles on it, but the head gaskets blew recently, spewed coolant all in the engine, which water-locked it. The estimates to replace the engine ranged from $8,000-$11,000. Not even worth the value of the car. In doing online research, I see that this is a common problem with these cars. Beware.Mar 03, 2024

Is an amazing car in HP and gas; I can fill the tank with 25 dollars and get almost 420 miles per gallons; and all this for the price of a lemon car; so I am glad I took this one ; I had one before and maintenance is not more than 500 per year. The only thing is ; not a manual transmission but, the automatic is doing a good job. Not a ford fan, but definitely a good car. Mar 01, 2024

This car is well made, comfortable, handles great, and wow, what great gas mileage, the dual clutch transmission is great and I dont understand what the complaints are. Maybe these people are used to torque converter cars but this dual clutch is perfectly normal. Dec 21, 2023

Good value. Reliable, safe car. Wish the seats folded down to make a level bed for the hatch, but thats about the only thing I dont like about the car.Jan 11, 2023

DPS6 transmission in these are garbage. Avoid if this transmission is present. Shutters and fails, do a Google search and you will see the details and the big lawsuit (no recall)Oct 30, 2022

This car is so much fun terrific to drive good power to weight ratio not super fast but still puts you in your seat cornering is a blast technology inside with apple CarPlay and the screen is terrific if you go 2017 or later with the SYNC3 technology only downside so far and this may be specific to me. Ive already had 2 flat tires because the sidewall on my tires is so small one was from a gravel road the other from a pretty bad pothole on the highway. But I love the car super amazing.Sep 24, 2021

Yes, the Fiesta ST-Line is a good value. 2019 is the last model year, so we wonder about parts availability down the road. But its very economical to drive, getting almost 42 miles to the gallon (even though it advertises 27 mpg). It drives well and handles well. For a small engine, it moves very well. Its infotainment system is excellent. Surprisingly roomy inside. We got the hatchback so its cargo area is quite large, especially if the back seats are folded down. Even has a small armrest, which I find essential, but previous models didnt have. Having a sunroof is a nice touch in such an economy car. But no seat heaters, still uses a key for ignition, and the speakers in the sound system are minimal. The back brakes are drum only. The back window seems a little small. But for the money, its an excellent runabout with great gas mileage. Its fun to drive. A great commuter. It also looks great from the outside. Much nicer than a Honda Fit. Sportier than the crossover SUVs like CRV or the smaller HRV. We like the Fiesta so much, this is our second one. It fits our needs as a commuter. Would also make an excellent car for a student or younger person. Easy to park One final comment is that the ST-Line, which is what we bought, is much nicer than the other Fiesta models. The ST-Line is harder to find and commands a slightly higher price. But its worth it. Its got more bark than bite but overall, we love the car. Aug 11, 2021

This is my sons first car, and he fell in love with it the moment he saw it. The car came with all of the bells and whistles such as leather seats, seat warmers, WIFI connectivity, sun roof, and push start ignition. It also came with a very good carmax report: 1 owner, log list of oil changes, and no accidents. Thus far, we have been very happy with this car. I am so glad that we got this as his first car!!!Jun 18, 2021

There truly was not much i did not like about this vehicle. Incredibly comfortable drive, extremely cheap to fuel, easy to maintain and take care of. I would recommend this car to any beginner driver learning the ropes, or a life long driver looking to save money at the pump. Jul 31, 2014

I found nothing negative about this vehicle. It does what it is advertised to do, and has had no issues at all. The mostr reliable car I have ever owned, and I have had many in my 80 years of life.Nov 13, 2013

Purchased this car in July of 2012 to replace my Jeep Cherokee. Was purchased for $17,500. Mine is an SE hatchback model with cruise control, Sync, Premium Stereo, LED parking lamps, and 15 inch wheels. This car gets amazing gas mileage, Im averaging 37mpg with mixed city and highway driving. I can get well over 40 on the highway on longer trips. And even mostly all around city driving will get me about 30. Im often going close to 2 weeks without filling up these days, the tank is small but that doesnt matter as it lasts 400+ miles! The car handles very nicely, unlike most electric power steering cars this one actually has road feel to it. In addition even though its a small car it absorbs the bumps on the highway extremely well, and the car is very quiet at highway speeds. The hatchback has great storage, and the stereo system sounds outstanding. Its not the fastest car out there, its small 1.6 liter engine only produces about 120HP but given that it only has about 2500 pounds to pull it has great pick up. When it comes to braking it stops on a dime. The interior quality is high. The interior has few hard plastics, no shiny plastics, and few panel gaps.
I only have a few minor complaints about this car. The front seats dont recline, the back seat is small, and the stereo system takes some time to adjust to the layout is awkward at first. The visibility is good for its class, far better than the Hyundai Accent/Kia Rio which has horrendous rear visibility.
Updated 8/16/2016. I traded this vehicle in with 75000 miles on it. Over the course of those 75000 miles and 4 years of ownership it gave me virtually no problems outside of breaking down once due to a grounding issue that was repaired for free under warranty and the sound system failing on me which was repaired under the extended warranty. Overall this car was an outstanding little car one just would have to get used to the odd quirks of the Ford Powershift Transmission.Oct 22, 2012

This is a great car... It is fun to drive, has enough power to get you going!
But is also a good car for long distance driving, very easy and comfortable
to handle. The front seats a exceptionally comfortable, and it feels like a
big car, with all the benefits of a small one. Apr 04, 2012

Gas mileage and pick up is excellent, corners like a mini cooper at half the price. Friends are amazed at the amount of room inside considering the exterior size. The sunroof is a nice feature to have on an economy car, it is not even offered on some competitors.Feb 18, 2012

I absolutely love my 2011 Ford Fiesta SEL. It looks great, even as a sedan the styling is rakish and forward (IMO). I have a 5 speed manual instead of the 6 speed "auto" but I still get great gas mileage (around 35 combined)!
The handling is excellent and it holds the road very well, the ride is not as cushy as some other small cars but it is a very responsive car. The electronic power steering can be described as "nimble".
The interior is suprisingly roomy for a small car, at least in the front - I haven't tried the rear seats yet. I have the IA key version, and its nice to be able to leave the key in my pocket and use the button to start the car. The door locks are nice too, just hold your thumb on the square and the door unlocks (as long as the key is on your person).
One thing I would have liked is a center arm rest, but this is supposed to be a small car and there isn't much room between the seats for an armrest.
The engine is peppy, and shifting is crisp. This car is a blast to drive! It's a load of fun. If your looking for a nice looking small car that's fun to drive and gets excellent gas mileage, look no further! You have found your car.Jan 03, 2011
