Safety, reliability, great features on the upgraded model all made this the chosen car. The auto doors, lift gate, storage and second row windows are my favorite. Eco mode for gas savings. Bought for a younger person who wants to go on road trips whenever they want.Apr 28, 2026

Absolutely this is a great van for three reasons. First, This vehicle for family that I am looking for. Second, Full option van make me feel comfortable when I am driving. Good reliable vehicle. Some have transmission problems, however all the ones I have dealt with have over 200k km on the odometer without any problems. Lots of storage in back, perfect for storing tools and moving materials. Great value for the price.Aug 06, 2025

I really like the keyless entry and the back - up camera. I think the car is a great value . It's not equipped with a spare tire and jack, though, nor could I find how to check or fill the transmission fluid. Apr 14, 2025

Car was in excellent condition! I love that it can fold and hide the seats under and have completely flat surface. I just wish keyless off and on function but other than that it was great. I’m very satisfied Jan 11, 2024

Power button on key fob doesnt work to unlock doors, power buttons in van dont work either for open/close windows. Have a feeling this will be a costly fix.Dec 03, 2023

I absolutely LOVE this van and I would absolutely get another one if I could. Its been the most reliable vehicle ever, with rarely a problem at all, except recently had the thermostat housing Crack and it was spraying antifreeze so I immediately dropped it off at my mechanics and parked it. Since then no issues at all. But it was stuck the other day and I was pushing the accelerator literally to the floor and nothing much was happening, it was like jt wouldnt Rev up at all..is this a feature of the van or an actual issue I should look into? Otherwise accelerates fine....uses to have a single misfire when wet but that hasnt happened again for several months. Jan 17, 2023

We have owned several Dodge Caravan’s . We bought our first one the first year they came out. We have always had great service from these vans. We have always been able to get 200,000 pulse miles without any major mechanical issues. Normal maintenance and tires took us all over America.Oct 12, 2022

Rear heat and air do not work at all. The front climate control is in unlock, even when using front control there is no air or heat. Changed front climate controls and rear roof mounted controls with no luck. Jan 13, 2022

We wanted room for taking things to farmer’s market. We needed a floor that would lay flat and we have this with the stow n go seating. The only thing about this model is that it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of you newer technology. There is no back up camera, Bluetooth, navigation, etc. But that wasn’t a deal breaker for us since we needed the room.
This vehicle is a very good riding vehicle. It is just as good as the Equinox that we traded in for it. May 19, 2021

As the reviews say, the best thing about a Grand Caravan is the price. It is literally only 60% of a Honda or Toyota and they often have more miles. The Caravan’s stow and go seats are terrific, the room inside is fantastic. Can tow 4,000 pounds with a 400 pound tongue weight. Better than some pickups. Apr 21, 2021

I was worried to go away from the Toyota/Honda/Nissan route for a van. However, I could not be happier with this van. The finishes are nice, maintenance is low and what maintenance there is, it's inexpensive. I would recommend a 2008 or newer Grand Caravan to any family looking for some more room.Nov 22, 2013
