i love my Van, it has 396,000 and still is running great. it has never not gotten us to where we're going and we drive at least 250 miles a week. the gas mileage isn't bad, 23-24 mpg on the highway. it's not a pretty vehicle but it always gets us to where we're going.Mar 11, 2015

I loved this van, it was very easy to drive and comfortable for everyone. It had a lot of style, a very nice interior and the tinted windows with white on white trim gave it a touch of class I have yet to see on any other van. It even had white wheels and white wiper blades, and yes, I still miss it!Oct 01, 2013

I have own several of these vans since 1995. I think I wil probably keep one as long as they are out there. I have removed the seats on when I had a need to haul stuff. I have learned to flush the trans every year to make it last.Oct 13, 2012

I paid a very fair price for it, thanks to R & J Mobility in Independence, OR. For a Dodge Grand Caravan of this vintage, it is a lot better than most, especially given its high mileage. Still, there are the ongoing annoyances of the failing conversion components installed by Braun Entervan, a driver's power window that intermittently fails unpredictably, and Dodge's/Chrysler's typically weak headlights of this vintage, but these ongoing aggravations have not kept me from using it as a daily driver and driving it on long road trips (4k - 6k+ miles) with up to 30 mpg, depending on the quality of the fuel. Bought secondhand from my uncle who didn't take very good care of it
Tranny was bad, blown head gasket, burned ass loads of oil, Looked like crap, Terrible gas mileage, tons of repairs, no fun at all whatsoever. STAY AWAY!!!Mar 12, 2011

My Grand Caravan LE AWD has just a hair over 213,000 miles on it. With the exception of a blown head gasket, I have never had anything major go wrong with this van. Drives well and still gets 18mpg on the highway. Not bad for All Wheel Drive I guess. I am having problems locating parts for this particular vehicle though. Seems as though there were not many of these AWD LE's built to begin with and there are fewer and fewer of them still on the road.Dec 25, 2010

You can't kill this thing. It has over 250,000 miles on it and still running strong. Body need s a little work and it is ugly as sin but what does that matter?
I will keep this 'til it won't run anymore. And by the looks of things that will be a few years down the road.May 19, 2010

I love the 3.3L V-6 and the 4SP auto. The acceleration and smooth and powerfull. Braking and handling is ok. The build quality is good. The van is 14yrs old and everything is still tight. The interior ans exterior is ok. Nothing spectular. I have the 4 captain chairs, and my kids love it. I love driving it.Oct 16, 2009

Another vehicle owned by the Collords, purchased new. It was silver with a gray cloth interior. It had power mirrors, cruise control, tilt steering column, and a nice sound system, but no power windows or locks. It even had second row captain's chairs, which were very comfortable. Shortly after they purchased it, the transmission went, and it was replaced free of charge, but after that, the van gave them no major problems. It did have some interesting electrical problems that lead to us affectionately naming it the "Haunted Caravan". One such example was the dome light that would go on and off when we hit a bump, and was usually joined by a dinging noise. The display on the radio would also fade in and out. This problem was eventually fixed. A really annoying problem was that the rearview mirror, mounted to the windshield, would fall off quite often. For the most part, however, the van was a great vehicle. Even after the odometer hit 180,000 miles, it was still going strong, but my uncle sold it because the A/C quit in about 2005, and bought a brand new Honda Element.Aug 24, 2008

The best part of this was that i could take so many people to places all the time. I had the room, and if you took the seats out if became the fun bus.May 05, 2008

Although this powerful and spacious van started out that way, the 3.3L factory engine now
has 180,000 miles on it, and considerably less "go" in it. The transmission, rebuilt at 75,000
miles, has, in the past year or so, begun slipping and behaving erratically.
Overall, this is a great vehicle to have as a secondary, backup, and roadtrip vehicle.Apr 02, 2008

overall the van is in great shape. The only thing wrong is the transmission and a/c having problems but hopefully they will be minor. I think it will do great for the money for only 600 dollars. Just needs a little TLC and some new paint....who know it might go another 200k lolMar 30, 2008
