Great SUV for the money. Still lots of features for an older vehicle. Love that there is heated seats front and back. V8 power, and these first Escalades have 4x4. Add an aftermarket stereo for apple car play and back up camera. Dec 25, 2023

Loved it & if I ever need another full size SUV I will definitely purchase a Cadillac Escalade. I did not want to sell it but no longer needed the roomy vehicle so I purchased a 2 seater. However, when you're in an Escalade, you're traveling in style!Feb 14, 2012

It was like a tank. The brakes were not the best I have driven. The four wheel drive worked very well and was useful in going up my drive way. It is nice and big and was able to push other cars out of the way. The turning ratios is worse then a tank.Dec 26, 2010

This vehicle is my POS. I drive it more than my truck because if anything happens to it, I don't care...I do like the room that this car has, I love the 6 speaker BOSE system, and it is fun when someone on the highway is being a jerk, I can gas on it and that V8 kicks butt. It's acceleration is pretty good, braking isn't bad for a large car. It handles ok, but not as tight as I think it should be, but it is a "luxury" vehicle so what can one expect. The gas mileage does not change whether I drive it slow or as if it was in the INDY. I have only had the car about a year and the abuse from previous owners is showing through with body moldings falling down, my passenger mirror blew off, back hatch leaks and sometimes the lights on the dash goes out. I spent over $3000.00 just getting this vehicle back to a safe driving condition, but for what I paid for it as well as what I have in it, it was still not a bad deal in comparison to others. Great full size SUV. Best platform by GM ever. My Truck is very dependable and makes driving my wife and son around easy and safe in any weather. One of the very few vehicles I'm comfortable in. Fat guy tested, fat guy approved!Jan 26, 2010

I got this just over a year ago, its a great work vehical. its a cadalac so it rides nice also. I just put a pioneer aviz z1 head unit so we can watch movies on family trips. over all i love this suv so much that i turned it in to my daily driver.Nov 02, 2009

this is a great vehicle to bling out. I use it to tow my
dirt bike trailer and for general weekend use. No
major problems with it. I've maybe put to big of
rims/too low profile tires on it as i've flattened out two

I like everything about the truck, except the 11.5 mpg... it drives smooth, and comfortable for long trips. the steering wheel has a little play in it, but not many costly repairs, just maintance, upkee. interior is spacious, and you don't have to worry about room for luggage when taking trips..Aug 05, 2008

Its Cadillac... its very roomy and comfortable. Lots of added extras like heated leather seats, dvd player, rear air conditioning.... but the gas milage might steer you away. Jul 14, 2008
