I love this car. I was searching for a car online, I have owned several Cadillacs and when I found this one, I knew I had to have it. This car is a 2006 model, it looks brand new inside and out. I am glad I purchased this vehicle. I am 100% SATISFIED!!Dec 07, 2020

Sleek & Stylist! - When this particular Cadillac CTS model was first shown, I recall being "wowed" and in awe. What's not to like? It's bold, stealth-like angular lines remind me of the F117 Fighter Jet! The squatty front end giving way to the crisp symmetrical lines running from fore to aft. The view from behind show cases the widened stance cleverly concealed within the flawlessly flared fenders as the trademark taillights bookend the patented tapered CTS rear end! Whether sitting still, rolling down a country road or making it's mark on an open California freeway, this car is a thing of beauty and an engineering masterpiece! The CTS was destined for greatness!Aug 23, 2014

This car looks great and is fun to drive. Built very well with a solid but not overly stiff suspension. More sporty than your typical Cadillac so a little less refined. You can still get all the bells and whistles though. Tons of leg room in the front and plenty in the back as well except for the middle seat.Jan 21, 2014

I loved this car, went out of town a lot and great on the road. This car is always a head turner and has the smoothest ride. Great boss stereo system can hear everything with those tweeters. Smoothest ride I have ever had!!Sep 29, 2013

Love the performance and experience. I especially enjoy driving this car in traffic or on the freeway, as the ride is so smooth and effortless. This car is not for those with large families, as the back seat does not provide a ton of space, but still can seat 4 quite comfortably. I would recommend this for those who want to have a car that gets from A to B with some flair.Apr 25, 2013

This is by far the best car i have ever owned. When you are driving this car you always look like your riding in style. It is a great safe and fun family car. This car always looks its best with the car freshly washed, black paint just sparkles and shines in the sun. Apr 21, 2012

I like this car and the only thing I have had to do to this car is change the oil. It is a bit expensive being only synthetic oil. The water pump is leaking lightly, but still going strong. I like this car but I could use some more room. I have put over 30k on it in two years and nothing has gone wrong. It runs like a top. The parts are very expensive to replace!Jan 13, 2012

Great driving car, we had the 5 speed manual, which was hard to find. The cts is easy to live with, and dependable. Sporty handling, great sound and dual climate systems. The traction control, along with tight suspension, made twisty roads desirable. The engine is powerful runs on regular, with just the right amount of growl entering the quiet cabin. Nicely contoured leather seats w/2 tone inserts look sharp. Real wood on chunky steering wheel is nice touch, accenting attractive roomy cabin. Heated seats in front and thick carpet give a pampered feel. Tires wear fast with spirited driving, and brake dust coats wheels quickly and is tedious to remove from alloy wheels. Pull up door handles break ladies fingernails, a minor thing. Neon 3rd brake light broke repeatedly cost $600 to replace. Condensation from A/C flooded car 1st trip to FL, dealer provided loaner, repaired A/C replaced carpet, an example of new model bugs to follow. Not a user friendly car to work on with baffles and covers galore-had to visit dealer to replace fog light bulb for example. Overall a great car with a european feel, we had full options except HID headlamps. Replaced it with the 08 redesign and hated it, not as engaging as the original. Too bad.Nov 28, 2011

This car handles and drives like a sports car and with the six speed
manual transmission its also fun, I also like how its quit on the highway
and great fuel mileage to boot. I will be buying another Cadillac in the
future, because this one has been such a great experience. Nov 28, 2010

I got my 2006 CTS used with 3,800 miles in perfect condition. The car is very attractive, solid, sturdy, heavy, comfortable, safe, also for the kids in the back (6 airbags). No repairs needed, good cost of ownership, good gas mileage.
This car is fun to drive under any conditions and has great traction and steering. I only wished I had the 3.6L engine instead of the 2.8L engine, but performance of the 2.8L engine is still
ok. Mar 03, 2010

An excellent car. About the best you can possibly expect from any V6 sport sedan.
Acceleration is extremely strong for a naturally-aspirated V6. Handling is phenomenal. Comfort is wonderful. Build quality is very good.
Overall it is an exceptionally good car.Jan 19, 2010

Good acceleration, fair braking, good handling.
Fair build quality (transmission will need work soon @ 50k miles)
Good exterior styling, fair interior styling (a little too much plastic)
Suprisingly good gas mileage (25MGP average 40%City/60%HWY). Brakes needs regular attention.
Fun car to drive!Feb 21, 2009

I love the engine. It goes 0-60 in just 4.7 secs. Its also a v6 which does mean it has good mileage. It gives about 18 to 22 mpg, so its nice and affordable. I've had the best time in my life when I drove it for the first time. I would definitely recommend this car to a friend not only because of luxury and affordability, but also because I love it...Sep 05, 2008

The CTS is one of the greatest American designs. It has lots of character and it stands out. Interior is nice and special although the car misses some equipments like a telescopic steering, but hey, once you have everything, you'll lack one very important thing and hat is: DREAMS.
Performance is great and reliability is good. Well, in few words: you feel distinguished once behind its wheel and with half the price of its German siblings. I added the front grille. A sportier front bumper and a rear apron are on the way ;)Jun 05, 2008

This car is really a good solid car that gives BMW 3-series and Mercedes C-class a run for their money. Being from Europe I'm spolied with great cars, so it's refreshing to see a great competitive car come from the U.S.May 15, 2008

Get the 3.6L engine as the 2.8L is adequate but hardly breathtaking in acceleration. But the ride, handling, and overall comfort are exceptional in all 3 categories. Very few sedans manage to offer an optimal blend of those 3 characteristics. The engine is a bit noisy for my tastes, but the 3.6L should be quieter.
The CTS is a superb sedan, and worth a look.Mar 15, 2008

An amazing balance --- very quick, yet runs on regular and gets 27 mpg highway at 70 mph. Finally some engineering from the US (and GM yet) which is world class --- the automatic transmission has no delay in shifts, and yet is very smooth. Handling is excellent in spite of slightly soft shocks and OEM tires. Seats are great for long trips too.Jan 31, 2008
