This M3 was so incredibly clean and like new and more than worth the premium price with low mileage and a perfect pre-inspection. I just drove it home from Detroit to Louisville and loved every minute of it. Sep 28, 2024

What a dream ride. I drove 3 different 2004 Chevy impalas since I was 15. I’ve put in so many hours of work. I can full heartedly say this car is everything and more. Everyone is jaw dropped and in awe. Shoutout car guru for being easy to useJul 26, 2024

I have an F80 M3 with executive pack, and competition pack with some other options.
Great car and puts its competition to shame in almost every aspect.
Exterior Design: BMW M puts other sports cars to shame. Mercedes AMGs C63 AMG exterior design looks like a base model F30 3 series with that open mouth bumper. The black series versions is what mercedes should have done as standard to their cars and believe me, they would have sold a lot more.
Audis RS5 seems like theyre trying, but they need wider fenders and a bit more bumper design.
Alfa Romeos Quadrifoglio just looks like a base model. Their side skirts do pop out more, and they do have a quad exhaust, agressive bumper design, and some hood vents, but thats about it. It aint much to tell its a sports car.
If youre spending this kind of money for a sports car, you should expect sportier design. The BMW M3 does this very will with the power dome hood, wider fenders, very aggressive looking front and rear bumpers, quad exhaust, side vents and such. You also have this wide aftermarket options that will make your car stand out even more!
I love the design of the F80 M3. Just the design itself already sells cars. Something the rivals lack so much of.
Performance: This car is the second fastest of the bunch, behind Alfa Romeos Giulia Quadrifoglio. And it is also the second quickest behind Audis RS5, which it has 4 wheel drive. But none of that matters. This car handles pretty well and it is plenty quick and fast. This car is highly tunable and can pump more HP with out having to go with aftermarket parts.
I will say this, compared to the E92 M3, the steering feels more lazy more towards the center, BUT the steering wheel feels great when the car is put to its intended use - which is weird. So in tight turns on normal driving, your turning the wheel a lot more while the E92 M3 is very snappy, it can turn on a dime.
Another thing is that transmission can be a little jerky. It performs best at more spirited driving but at low RPM regular driving it can be jerky and pushy. I think its because the turbo in the engine isnt spinning fast enough for the engine to rev instantly at lower RPMS which makes the DCT a bit buggy.
What I do to smooth it out when accelerating it is to be easy on the peddle where the engine barely revs first and then the transmission engages softly - making a smooth take off. When slowing down, I stay on the peddle while downshifting. The E92 M3 handles so much better with engine and transmission, the V8 behaves like it is hyper and will rev high super fast because it doesnt need the turbo to rev high and the DCT works with the engine very nicely.
The DCT is rapidly becoming famous for its super quick gear shifts and for its very good reliability. You even see it swapped in other cars like the E46 M3 and the mk4 Supra.
Comfort: its ok. It can wear out your bottom. I havent tried out its competitors but the seats can make your bottom worn out. It may need more cushion. However, back rest can be adjusted in so many ways.
I have heated seats and i always use them as they come in handy when warming up your car.
-Tehcnology: Audi and BMW have the best infottainment systems. They are the easiest and most responsive to use. They also have a very clear user interface and the 2d graphics are sharp and clean. Mercedes benz feels like those chinese ipod replica graphics from the 2000s. Yes, they have improved. AR giulias is ok, but BMW takes the cake and shares with audi. I prefer BMW though, it is like the apple of cars.
Interior design: I love the interior design in the car. It looks sporty and I prefer it over the others. BMW M seats, M seering wheel, the monitor/display, the center consol - everything is well designed. Mercedes Benz come in second and audi comes in third. All of them are great, BUT Alfa romeo giulias is so outdated.
All in all, this car I highly recommend because it is styled as it should and it is a very fun car. It may not be the quickest or fastest but even then it still puts the others to shame because BMW does everything else just better.Sep 12, 2022

Comparing with the e92 m3 competition I have:
The car I own is a 2018 M3 with competition pack and executive pack and all the options. Black on red spec. This car looks more aggressive.
It has more tech, it looks more nicer and modern.
It doesnt feel much faster to he honest.
The steering feels wider, I have to turn the steering wheel a lot more for the car to really turn. I almost clipped my front end corner of my car because how wide the the car turns as compared to my e92 m3.
The e92 m3 feels more like a drivers car. Unlike the f80, the e92 m3 feels instant power and it feels like you go faster and faster. The transmission also feels more aggressive and it really smacks you to the seat on every gear change. The f80 just doesnt feel that way. I love hearing the loud screaming v8, it sounds and feels like it just loves to Rev. It wants to push its limits. The f80 doesnt feel that way, I also dont know how to feel about the fake engine noise in the interior when you rev it out. You want to hear the actual exhaust note but the car forces you to listen to this artificial BS. Its too loud as well.
Its a more beautiful car, but the whole driving dynamics is not as good as the e92 m3.Mar 24, 2022

I traded in a 2018 Alfa Giulia Quadrofolio for this. The Alfa was a tiny bit faster and its steering was better. But the M3 is a much better all around car. If you plan to use your car for anything other than rolling up to cars & coffee, the Alfa would wear you out. The M3 can go hard on a country road too but also leave you with your senses still intact after a multi-hour road trip. The Interior room, comfort and finishes are better. The elctronics are much better. And my M3 is a 6-speed manual, something not available on the Alfa. Sep 07, 2020
