The 2012 BMW six series grand coupe is remarkably an Exceptional, reliable one of a kind vehicle. I’ve owned two of them “650i Trim & 640i 4door”. Hands down, no complaints whatsoever during the time of which I owned/leased BMW model. Furthermore, the price point for its time in our era is impeccably underpriced in my opinion (used car/depreciated value per KBB to date). However, nevertheless, it’s good that it’s a hidden GEM that is slept on. Allowing the 2012 BMW to uphold its uniqueness and elite status quo, which I appreciate and value second to reliability, and this is coming from a man in my early mid 30s that has owned one of each model trim in the six series from 2012< it being my favorite car that I’ve ever “owned/leased/Pre-Own purchases”. This car is undeniably incomparable to anything else out there. It is rock solid and seeps sexiness. One small suggestion would be to have more cup holders in the front of car, and passenger side….but perfection otherwise. Apr 04, 2023

I was very disappointed! When I spoken to the Auto sales person, they inform me that the vehicle was in good condition! But that was falsehood! The vehicle has numerous of problems! A long crack in the windshield, smoke from the engine! Check engine light is on! It have engine problems! Vehicle shake when start up! When test drive, the vehicle does not carry the power as a V8 engine! The price for this vehicle is definitely not worth it, Mar 23, 2023

It is a great value these days. Just keep in mind the 650 will be costly to maintain the twin turbo v8 while the 640 has decent power and better reliability. Sep 03, 2022

Great car! Features for a 2012 model is very extensive. MSport Xdrive model drives great. Needs a remote start. Back seats are useless. But thats not what you buy this car for. Best 2012 grand tourer model for the money. Jun 06, 2022

DO NOT buy a 6 series with a N63 engine ! Engine is called hot Vee, twin turbo chargers sit n the middle of a V8, hot and hotter equals bad news for oil consumption (litre per 1000km), fuel injector failure, timing chain failure, leaking valve stem seals, oh yeah recommend new battery every 2nd oil change due to little recharging of battery and excessive cooling after engine s/o due to excessive HEAT !Aug 12, 2021

I owned a 2009, but this one rides and handles completely differently.
The ride is incredible! You feel like youre riding in a luxury sedan. The Sport and Sport+ modes make thinks a little harsher, but the car still seems to float down the road.
The steering, though responsive, doesnt have that planted feel. Even in Sport+ mode.
Where this car shines is the motor/transmission. You know that the power is always there right under your foot. The transmission shifts smoothly and always knows the right gear.
This is my daily driver, and I drive a lot (`800 miles a week), and I am with this car those miles will just slip away...

I absolutely loved my 650i convertible. Unfortunately got rear ended New Year’s Day and was totaled.. I am searching vigorously for a new one. It was the total package... comfort, power, styling, it had it all. A real head turner because you don’t see them all the time.. I’m going to be patient until I find one exactly like my old one . Although being a two convertible makes it seem hard to be a family car. However, this model is big enough for a family of three because of roomy interior and head clearance it offers in its class, its a winner.Oct 15, 2020

Picked up the 2014 BMW 640i convertible in Portland OR and drove down the west coast back to Phoenix metro. The car performed great with spirited driving while maintaining 28+ mpg. The car was comfortable driving 6-8 hours per day and offers a number of features / options hard to live without. The twin turbo six cylinder provided great performance with no lag.Jul 26, 2014

I love the design of the this car--very eye catching and not overly common. Looks fast, looks exotic. The 640i is plenty powerful and fun to drive, but also gets great gas mileage. The 4 doors make it way more practical.Jun 09, 2014
