The 2023 Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron is a versatile and dynamic all-electric crossover. It features a rakish design that catches the eye while still delivering some usable cabin space. The Q4 Sportback e-tron provides up to 54.4 cubic feet of cargo. With the rear seats in use, it still provides up to 26.1 cubic feet of rear cargo space.
Trims for the Q4 Sportback e-tron are Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Standard equipment on the Premium trim includes 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-season tires, heated front seats, tri-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a power rear liftgate, leatherette upholstery, LED interior lighting package, and aluminum interior accents. It also comes with an intuitive touchscreen interface that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Moving up to the Premium Plus trim adds Audi’s virtual cockpit, a wireless device charging pad, navigation, a Sonos premium sound system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and heated, power-folding, auto-dimming side mirrors.
The range-topping Prestige trim adds matrix-design LED headlights, unique startup animations for the head- and tail-lights, a headlight-washer system, and an augmented reality (AR) head-up display.
The Q4 Sportback e-tron comes equipped with an 82-kWh battery pack, which routes power to the front and rear motors in an all-electric take on Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive. These motors make a combined 295 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque. This combination is good for a zero-to-60-mph time of 5.8 seconds and a top speed of 112 mph.
This electric vehicle (EV) setup has a max range of 242 miles. The EPA rates EVs in terms of miles per gallon of gasoline equivalent, or MPGe. The Q4 Sportback e-tron returns 95 combined MPGe. Using a Level 2 charger, the Q4 Sportback e-tron can fully recharge its battery in 7.5 hours. It also has DC fast-charge capability, allowing it to recharge from 5% to 80% charge in just 36 minutes.
The Q4 Sportback e-tron comes equipped with a host of advanced driver-assistance features, including forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Premium Plus adds traffic-sign recognition, lane guidance, and adaptive cruise control.
Base MSRP for the 2023 Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback is $56,800 for the Premium trim. The Premium Plus trim starts at $63,400, and the range-topping Prestige trim starts at $64,900. The Q4 Sportback e-tron is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty. The battery and electric components are backed by an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty.
