The 2022 Lamborghini Urus carries all the performance and passion of the Italian supercar brand’s DNA and employs it in a more functional four-passenger crossover SUV. It has thrilling acceleration and cornering abilities, and yet it can also hold up to 56.36 cubic feet of cargo with the rear seats folded. With the rear seats in use, the Urus provides 21.75 cubic feet of cargo space. The Urus shares architecture with the Audi RS Q8, but with more dramatic styling that positions it perfectly as a “Lambo.”
The Urus comes equipped with 21-inch wheels, power-adjustable and heated front seats, and wireless device charging. The futuristic cockpit features a fully digital instrument panel, as well as a dual-touchscreen center console. The lower screen operates climate and other comfort controls, while the upper screen operates the navigation as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Optional features include a panoramic moonroof and a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system. There are also a wide variety of personalization options for the Urus. The upgraded Pearl Capsule trim takes that custom touch a step further. It features unique available colors and unique two-tone interior trim color combinations.
The Urus features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine. It makes 641 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission routes power to all-wheel drive with a torque vectoring system. This can put more power to the outside wheels in a turn for improved cornering. Rear-wheel steering, carbon ceramic disc brakes, and an adaptive air suspension are all there to provide a supercar-like ride in an SUV.
EPA fuel economy estimates for the Urus are 12 mpg city, 17 highway, and 14 combined. The engine requires premium fuel.
Standard driver assistance features include a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, and adaptive LED headlights. Optional driver assistance features include a night vision system, a self-parking system, and a forward/rearward dash-camera system.
The 2022 Lamborghini Urus has a starting MSRP of $218,009. The Pearl Capsule trim starts at $239,231. The various levels of customization and options can add tens of thousands to the price.
