The c max is fundamentally a great car, however: Ford software is the pits! Weve owned a 2013 and now a 2014 and there is nothing different in how crappy the software is.
I own a 2019 explorer as well, and have issues with the software as well. Fords have proven to go the distance in miles and being long term cars, and I like the dependability and the comfort they offer. But again, THE SOFTWARE IS HORRIBLE.Aug 15, 2023

The Ford C-Max is such an underrated and not talked about vehicle. With a dual motor on the hybrid, this car is faster than a Subaru wrx. The back seats are full size SUV seats, the drivers seat functions like a captains chair and no matter how fast I drove I still average about 39 miles per gallon.Mar 29, 2023

Best vehicles I have ever bought.I bought a 2013,& a 2015,& both were excellent as far as economy,ride,& maintenance cost.Would buy another should I need one,however I have moved to Montreal ,& parking is a problem,so I have decided not to have a vehicle.Nov 09, 2022

With only 21,000 miles on the car it is like brand new. Except for the battery which is weak. Otrer than that the car is perfect and beautiful. Also it only gets 32 MPG Due to the weak battery.Apr 15, 2022

After the short time Ive owned this car, I can say that it provides the needs that I require. The vehicle is just long enough to store my poles to go camping and gets gas mileage ranging between 39 mpg and 48 mpg. You will definitely get better mileage when driving in the country compared to driving on the interstate.Mar 26, 2022

everything is good so far. Great mpg's easy to operate has all the bells and whistles. Plenty of power for highway driving. Cargo space is adequate extra storage under back seat floors. Great sound system.and hands free is a definite plusJan 13, 2015

I have had my 2013 Ford C-Max for nearly a year and love it. It is fairly new to the Ford line up so still not the well known out there. This is a sound second car for the family. It seats all 5 of us comfortably enough for around town and weekend trips. Anything more and we need to use our Ford Escape. I average a real world 42MPG of primarily commuting with some highway driving. Due to the high roofline, the C-Max offers a surprisingly comfortable driving position, easy access and a great amount of cargo room. I used my C-Max to bring home my 4 burner grill that I was given for Fathers Day!

Still driving, hoping to see improved MPG but enjoy the very impressive and powerful drivetrain. Forget that this is a hybrid it looks and drives like a very nice family car and with a little negotiation it is almost the same price. We use the Bluetooth phone and other my-touch features. The original Ford Sound system sounds as good as the Sony extra charge system. Jan 05, 2014

I own a Ford C-Max and I/we are really enjoying it. I have had it for nearly 11 months now. I have noticed for the past 11 months that the Ford C-Max is rarely if ever seen on or in any Ford advertising spots on TV. Just wondering why Ford is NOT being more up front in attempting to advertise the C-Max?
