I have on street parking so its perfect to FIT in the small spots. Its my sons first car so I think itll work well for him to navigate through the streets in sharpen his driving skills
We like the features, seems to be a good value. A backup cam could be missing but its okay. I would compare it to Toyota Yaris Chevy Sonic or spark any of your smaller hatchback vehiclesFeb 17, 2024

We have Twins, they have both been quite happy with the Honda Fits! One of them was recently in an accident where hers was totaled. She was unharmed other than the trauma of the event. The search for a replacement Honda Fit has been tough but we will search until we find one. They are economical, low maintenance along with being cute and fun to drive! Sep 16, 2022

Thanks to the emails from Car Gurus I found the Honda Fit Id been searching for at my budgeted price with the extras I wanted. Id hoped for the sport model but no go. And the advertised silver exterior
turned out to be simply gray, so less appealing in that regard. Otherwise Im pleased with my new/old vehicle! Very spiffy, but car does ride bumpy on imperfect roadway. Also too many windows!Apr 30, 2022

The car mechanically seemed okay, have some concerns regarding the rebuild of the front end, especially under the hood and wheel wells. Inner finder metal and front wheel wells are missing all moisture barriers may be a problem over the overall performance of this vehicle. Have not completely eliminated it from our potential buy list, but we are still considering other vehicles.Feb 08, 2022

Loved this car since I got it. Great gas mileage. Very adjustable for whatever you are doing. Can handle groceries for the family or drive through the toughest of conditions. Nothing really bad to say about this vehicle. Best car for the money in my opinion. Feb 11, 2014

Great handling and solid feeling car from Honda.
Power is adequate for one person.
When the FIT is loaded up you sure feel it.
The rear seats are super functional and must be seriously considered!

This is the perfect car for somebody looking to save money. The car is inexpensive, as low maintenance as a car gets, and requires very few trips to the gas station. Saving money on a car doesnt mean you have to drive something ugly, this car looks great.Jun 29, 2012

I really like this car but wasn't really expecting to. Having test-driven the Yaris and a couple of hybrids I wasn't really impressed with small commuter cars. Until i tried out the Fit.
I bought it new last year and haven't had any problems so far. It's great in the city, and the cargo space impresses everyone who has seen it firsthand - the seats lower into the wheelwell which gives you a surprising amount of space.
Everything about this car feels well-designed - I never feel like i have any blind spots and I find that, as a tall guy at 6'2" I have more space in this car than i have in some mid-size cars i've driven.
I bought it new so i can't say much about the maintenance costs, but the gas mileage is phenomenal. I wasn't expecting much out of the performance but i was surprised at the pickup I DO get, although it won't blow you away. If you're expecting that you're probably looking at the wrong type of car.
Overall I recommend this car to anyone who's looking for a commuter/weekend car. I recommended it to a coworker who immediately purchased a 2012 upon test-driving it.

2011 Honda Fit Sport Left Driver Door Actuator Latch Assembly
I have a 2011 Honda Fit Sport. The driver side door lock is stuck. It won't lock or unlock manually, using the key, or using the auto lock switch. The auto switch will lock and unlock all the other doors and the hatch. The actuator seems to still have power. The lock is just stuck. So it may be the latch, or something else. I'm not particularly mechanically-inclined, so I haven't attempted to take the door apart and investigate myself. Either way, from what I understand, the actuator comes as part of an assembly with the latch and cable. This assembly for the 2011 Fit Sport costs around $240, with no aftermarket available. I have found the part used on eBay for around $50, but only for the 2009 or 2010 model. I can't find the 2011 used anywhere. Will either of these model years, 2009 or 2010, or any other model years, fit the 2011? They all seem to be year specific. Did Honda honestly change the front left driver side actuator-latch assembly each model year? I have been unable to find this information anywhere. It's frustrating, to say the least. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
