i am going on holiday and will be taking our dog with us. Is it possible to leave the dog in the car and lock the car without alarm going off. The dog will be in the boot area behind a grill

This Sportage is very well engineered, comfortable, competent, and roomy, while still getting 20 - 23 mpg. Acceleration is above average, braking and overall handling is outstanding. Performs exception on the snow. With the 10year /100,000 mi. bumper to bumper warranty, how can you go wrong. Jul 18, 2010

It's a great vehicle for the money. I get about 21 mpg around town. We have not taken it out on a long trip as yet. There is plenty of leg room in the back seat. The back seats fold down easy to make a large flat cargo area. It accelerates fine. No problems getting on to the interstate. Feels good to drive. I love it.May 24, 2010

i am totally pleased with the car. the acceleration is not as great as i would really like but it is quick and nimble and easy to drive. gas mileage is very good and the styling is great.May 16, 2010

Why won’t my ac clutch come on with the button?
My compressor went out recently, I ended up replacing it, I then took it to the shop had it fill with refrigerant, but it still will not start. I had the level checked at several different places they say it is fine. I replaced the relay still nothing. If I jump the relay it works fine but it won’t come on with the button. Now when I hit the button the cooling fan comes on but not the clutch. What can it be?

2010 Kia sportage intermittent starting problem
I have a 2010 Sportage with 264000 km. All maintenance done never had any major problems. Overall a good solid car. Past 9 months on and off when key in ignition sometimes it doesn't turn over. Lights on as is windows work and radio. Has a new battery as well as new alternator. After a few minutes try again and usually starts. Have taken to regular mechanic and they cant find the source. Has been doing this usually every few days. Doesn't like alot of starting and stopping if running errands. Was suggested try new ignition switch as well as ignitor switch as least expensive and see if that helps. If not try replacing the starter. Kia dealership as well cant confirm if this is or is not the problem. Hugely frustrating cause now just elimination of a few possibilities. Another suggestion was fuse box? Any suggestions out there? No longer comfortable driving out of town or at night in case it doesn't start. Only driving local now.

driver side controls don't control front passenger window anymore, front passenger door always jams; sometimes it'll lock, most times i need to lean over to unlock it, and the back door latch won't lock. I've checked every fuse - including the ones under the hood. Could it all be related? Not sure what to make of it.
