Alfa Romeo's new MiTo subcompact three-door hatchback should arrive in the U.S. in 2011, but it's already made quite a debut in Europe, having recently taken the journalist-awarded title of 2009 European Car of the Year. (Fans of American cars may find the news that Ford's Fiesta took third in the European Car of the Year contest and will arrive in the U.S. in 2010 exciting.) The MiTo, named after Milan and Turin, where it was designed and gets built, will compete directly with the MINI and Audi's soon-to-arrive-in-the-U.S. A1.
The MiTo shares some front-end looks with Alfa's new 8C Competizione and its platform with the Fiat Grande Punto and Opel Corsa. It features the Alfa DNA system, which adjusts the engine, transmission, brakes, steering, and suspension to one of three driver-selectable settings - Dynamic, Normal, or All-Weather. The entry-level MiTo trim features a 1.4-liter four cylinder that produces 79 hp, while the top of the line has a turbocharged 1.4-liter that produces 153 hp and can get the car from 0 to 62 mph in 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 134 mph.

Good car and cheap to run. Good company car but a little small for a family car. But
it is a lot nicer than having to drive your own car. The car looks great and gets a lot

fast and i would love to have a standerd one cuz they are crap standerd and i
would do it up like my other one it is a fun car cuz people look at it and say "ha he

2010 Mito looks good drives well I use this car as an instructional car for the driving school and the students love it has been very reliable and the aftersales serice has been ssescond to none. excellent all round vehical Jan 19, 2011

Engine: wonderful.
Build quality: uplevel for a fiat-group's car.
Fun factor: the greatest times I ever had!
Economic to drive (if u know how to), astonishing looking and, I repeat, it's an Alfa

i drove it from the dealer in belgium to my dad in germany (350 km).
moost of the road was high way.
its a sporty car (even without the sports pack). for a 1.4 turbo diesel it had a
good preformance. the shift indicator is handy of you want to economise your
driving.
the car has a good cornering spirit. becaus of the harder suspension. the
stearing is verry direct. you have a prety good fealing of the road.
there is a lot of space in side. the dashboard is prety clean and easy. we
sugest to take the two tone interieur. that gives some extra to the car. all
buttons and nobs are hard plastic.
the trunck is small. bud you don't need a truck load if you drive that kind of car.
overal the perfect car for young people who have to drive in city conditions and
want a more sporty economical feeling. the perfect second car.

performance: for a eco 95 hp powered engine, it has sportive specs.
Build quality: It's a Alfa u know ?
Alfa's are always good cars with a high quality rate.

I love my car with its six speed gearbox and lots of
torque.The DNA switch is fantastic...changes the
performance totally. The quality is great and the car
looks great. All in all,it's fun and would recommend it

Good acceleration, Solid stable ride that is well built. good quality build with good performance. i have only got this car up to 125 and it handles well even at speeds that fast. it pretty fun to drive. it is a very smooth ride with nice handling, brakes, acceleration, and comfortable interior.
