Lighter, bouncier and cheaper than the Land Cruiser. Still well made and solid. Fairly good power from the 6 Cyl auto engine. Bluetooth, leather interior, 4WD, etc. Gas miser despite size. Very comfortable ride though be ware of sudden turns.Feb 24, 2010

This is the car which gives you value for money both on road and off road..great four wheel drive. gives you comfort and safety and economical on fuel also.Would suggest if you want to go for four wheel drive then go for this one to begin withSep 07, 2009

Performance: Very Powerful Engine, awesome acceleration, good ground clearance, very nice i Sand Dunes and all types of Terrains.
Build Quality: Toyota is famous for one of the best build qualities.
Appearance: I love it.
Cost of Ownership: It is a bit heavy on gas, but since I am in Qatar, so that snot an issue. Maintenance is not a problem, as Toyota provided 5 years complete warranty.
This car is really fun to drive, and I am glad I bought this SUV. If any one is planning to buy a car in the price range of 40 - 50K US $, I would strongly recommend Prado.Aug 22, 2008

Love my Prado!! Is great to drive, love that I sit up high and can see traffic ahead. Has great acceleration, sits on road nicely. Have had no dramas with it, running great. Love the way it looks on the outside, very classy. Interior is great, lots of room, good compartments and very comfortable - can seat up to 8. My car won't start at the first try, but the second time its starts normally. Even when I have just turned the engine off after hours of driving and then turned o again it will not start.
