Write a reviewRecently updated in 2005, there are few changes to the 2007 Nissan pathfinder, a mid-sized SUV that fits seven in three rows of seats. New for 2007 was an MP3 jack and an auto up/down feature for the passenger window.
Coming in S, SE, and LE, the 2007 Pathfinder can be had with either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. In LE, the four-wheel drive can be used on dry pavement as well. An SE Off-Road package, which only comes with four-wheel drive, adds special tires, extra anti-skid plates, and stronger shocks. All models are powered by a 4.0-liter, 266-hp V6 and 5-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include ABS brakes, traction control, stability, power seats, and dual front airbags. Side curtain airbags for all three rows are standard on the LE, optional on all other trims. Being the more upscale of the Pathfinders, the LE also comes with leather seats and a sunroof and optional navigation system.
The second and third row of seats all fold flat into the floor, expanding on the already large cargo space. Special tie-downs and storage beneath the floor provide extra configuration options for whatever you're hauling. The 2007 Pathfinder is billed as having a towing capacity of 6000 pounds. Drivers definitely like the hefty engine, which performs well and seems to accelerate pretty rapidly on the highway. Legroom and storage space are optimal, and all the standard features are a big highlight. The biggest complaint about the 2007 Pathfinder is the poor fuel economy, but no one ever saved money at the pump driving an SUV.

Great vehicle. Strong engine, interior quality could be improved. Good highway mileage. Even better with K&N Cold Air intake. Pretty good pickup for a heavy SUV. Towing capacity is good, could be better. V8 would have been a good choice as well.Jun 15, 2011

its the ultimate you can have as a mix between a sedan and a suv + an awesome offroader good ground clearance buil quality is great with crushable area and non areas safety is good with front and side airbags cost is fine considering what is on offer appearance wise it is a point behind the 2005 model is feel but overall its a great deal an is was expected from the nissan stable keep it up and keep on offerring such products and the consumer loyalty will follow since this is my 3rd model of the pathfinder which i have bought first bein in 2000 2004 and 2007. +5 from meDec 02, 2008

So far so good! Just keep changing the oil on time you'll do well! I kept my 1st Pathfinder for 15 years!
handle's differently than the 1st generation Pathfinders due to the wider and longer wheelbase but does it's job.
pretty good gas milage for an SUV due to the 5 gear tranny as long as its highway milage. city, it's like any other SUV.

2007 pathfinder coolant leak
I recently heard about 07 pathfinders having coolant leaking into transmission fluid causing transmission failure. Can i check my transmission fluid and see if coolant has been mixing in? Seems like most people encounter problem before 100k miles so with 130k miles is there a good chance my coolant isnt leaking into trans? Is there something I can do now such as a seperate trans cooler? Any advice appriciated, thanks
