The 2007 Lincoln MKX is a five-passenger, luxury crossover vehicle known its relative fuel economy (18 city/25 highway for the two-wheel drive trim). Its buyers have the luxury of choosing from nine colors, including one called Creme Brulee. The MKX's competition includes its lower-priced sibling, the Ford Edge, as well as the Volvo XC90, the Nissan Murano, the Acura MDX, the Lexus RX350, and other mid-sized crossovers. Lincoln's target market is empty-nesters, although it's a shame to leave the comfy back seats empty, especially in a fully-loaded vehicle - rear-seat heaters are an option. Standard equipment on both the 2WD and AWD versions covers a lot of comforts. Leather seats are a given, and you can opt to have them heated and cooled; there's even an option to get heaters and reclining seat backs in the second row, too. The MKX (pronounced Mark X) delivers a quiet and plush ride, thanks to its four-wheel independent suspension and abundance of sound-deadening materials. All-wheel drive is available. Standard safety features fill a comprehensive list; among them are dual-stage front air bags with driver-seat position sensors and crash-severity sensors; side-curtain air bags are standard, too.

It was almost a perfect transaction but 4 days after I purchase a vehicle. My starter went out. I contacted the dealership baton about my issue is even I thought I might need it a jump but it turned out to be something more serious I dont think anybody wants to spend x amount of dollars and then have to spend $600 for a starter replacement after you just purchased the vehicleJul 02, 2020

I really like this car. It is not as sophisticated as I had hoped. It does not have any Bluetooth capabilities so it will not sync your phone. But that is the only thing I do not like. It drives great very easy to get in and out of. I love doing errands, it gets in small parking places with no trouble. I compared it to all the SUV models and I mean all models and the Lincoln MKX stood out the most. I had been shopping for over a year just to find the right one at the right price. I found this older one that had been pampered its whole life. It was owned by Florida snow birds that only used it on a seasonal basis. It took a while to find one with all the bells and whistles but it was worth it. I am very happy with my decision. Mar 09, 2020

Like the handling and convenience of the car. No dislikes. Has plenty of power to get down the road and is easy to maintain. Great handling at night also. Quick on response. Very good gas mileage for in town and on the highway.Feb 18, 2015

not 3rd row seat... I love everything else. the safety is amazing the adaptive headlights are incredible this is a fantastic SUV(crossover) for someone that does not have the needs of the 3rd row seat... I definitely recommend this for youFeb 12, 2012

I bought this vehicle with 19,900 miles on it and it looked and drove like a NEW car. Still does...it's got the tight, quiet feel of a well built auto. Maintenance and repairs are a non issue. This is a dependable automobile. With proper mirror adjustment, there are no blind spots. Acceleration, braking and handling are spot on. This car feels SAFE and luxurious. Corners better than any SUV I've ever driven. I haul stuff and the rear seats fold down with the push of a button and there is lots of room! My ONLY semi-issue is seat comfort..they are a bit stiff. My spouse's only issue is driver space...his knees feel a bit constrained by the console. He is 6'3". Other than that, it is a definite BUY and ENJOY.Feb 01, 2012

This crossover is a head turner. The kids enjoy it and all their friends think the car is cool. Plenty of space to haul the 3 kids and the 3 dogs thanks to the hatchback style trunk. Very detailed interior and the Dual Sunroofs are breathtaking.Oct 23, 2009

Looks great and is very comfortable. Love the leather seats and
the Sirius Radio. Drives like a dream. Gas mileage isn't that
great but it's worth it. Turn signal/bright light thing sometimes
is a challenge. Lots of storage in the back. Speaker system is

We were pleasantly surprised by the performance of the Lincoln MKX. The engine has way more power than this vehicle needs and the transmission is butter smooth. 95% happy with this car.
Detroit has really closed the quality gap with it's foreign competitors. It drives great. Low road noise. Looks great. They can still do a bit better on some of the smaller cosmetic items. The front bumpers on these cars just don't line up all that well. Mind the gaps a little bit better and this car would cost $5,000 more than it does.
Overall, a great car and one of the better coming out of Detroit right now. Definately recommend you take it for a test drive.Aug 20, 2008

2007 Lincoln MKX Passenger airbag
Hello, i just got a 2007 lincoln mkx and the airbag light on my dash is on. I also noticed when sitting in the passenger seat the pass airbag light stayed on (airbag off) so im guessing its the sensor. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to bypass the sensor and keep the bag on at all times. I read all through the manual with no answers. Thanks
