The 2007 Ford Edge is the first in a new model line from Ford. Marketed to younger, active drivers looking for something different, the Edge is a medium sized crossover vehicle styled to evoke a tradition of performance.
With a rounded, low-to-the-road silhouette, the '07 Ford Edge has a sleeker, more aerodynamic look than most of Dearborn's SUV offerings. Its medium sized, crossover styling is very different from bigger, boxier stablemates like the Explorer and Expedition; features like the optional two-panel Vista Roof give it a design leg up on the crossover competition.
The 2007 Edge is available in three trim levels: SE, SEL, and SEL Plus. It offers comfortable seating for five, with 40 inches of headroom despite its low-slung look.
Under the hood, you'll find a 3.5 liter, dual overhead cam, 24-valve Duratec 35 V6 engine with a 265 horsepower output. Front-wheel drive is the standard offering for the '07 Edge; buyers can upgrade to optional all-wheel drive. Fuel efficiency isn't too bad: EPA estimates are 18 mpg city, 25 mpg highway for the front-wheel drive models.
Our AC blower motor went out so my girlfriend decided to switch relays and fuses around to see if that was the issue but now she switched the big grey relays around so much that she doesn’t remember how to put them back like they were… So now our car does not start and we can’t figure out the correct spot for the relays like they were… Please help… We’re actually supposed to leave in the morning on vacation
Need to replace my transmission in my 2007 Ford Edge. 3.5 engine. SEL automatic with AWD.
For the last month, my wrench light has come on about a dozen times and the car goes in limp mode. I am able to pull the car over, turn it off and take they key out of the ignition. Then the light is off when I restart the car. It seems as if it comes on more frequently the colder it is. The vehicle seems to have lost its "get up and go" and sometimes stays in low gear longer that it had in the past. My tranny fluid is fine...It almost feels like I'm towing a trailer! The RPMs seem to rev and dip as well with no rhyme or reason. It has never stalled out completely, but I would like to fix it before it does. Any thoughts?
just bought 2007 ford edge, ran great on the way home. Decided to add some gas treatment and Lucas in the transmission. Now it vibrates at 3 to forth or 4 to 5 gear and RPM in just some gears then run fine after all shifts are done. Should I drain or maybe some gunk is stuck and will work its way out.
When I start my car in the morning or anytime when the engine is off for long hours, the temperature gauge is at Cold (C). after i start driving for about a 2 to 4 minutes, the temperature gauge rises to the middle of C and H ends. I am concerned at the weather conditions here in Saudi Arabia during summers are very harsh. Please advise.
