The Dodge Sprinter got a complete redesign for 2007. The full-size van with the prominent top got even longer and bigger. In addition, the Sprinter got a new V6 engine and new designs for the interior and exterior, including bigger rear windows.
This van comes in two trims: the 2500 170WB and 2500 144WB. Both trims have 3 doors, seat 10, and tow up to 5000 lbs. Think of the 2500 144WB as the more compact trim with less cargo capacity.
Overall, the Dodge Sprinter gives you good cargo space, pretty smooth handling for a full-size van, and a roomy interior. On the downside, a relatively pricey van like this should probably upgrade to a V8 engine. Despite the shortcomings under the hood, the '07 Sprinter gives fans of the full-size van the most modern option they could want.
I have a 3500 2007 Sprinter with a Benz engine. When driving at constant speed I get a rythm "pulse" type of Vibration - When I look at the RPM dial it goes up for 2 seconds them back to normal in the pulse type of rythm about every 10 seconds while driving at constant speed. Anyone know what could be causing this? At idle it does not happen.
No reading or power to code reader ? Where could Problem be
When I push on the accelorator, the whole van starts to vibrate. When I release it, the vibrating stops. The second problem is that it loses power all the time, whether it's going up hill or on flat ground. No one has been able to help me with this in the last year, not any mechanic or dealer. Please advise...Thanks.
