Write a reviewThe Bentley Azure Convertible returns with little change for 2007. The Azure reappeared last year as a unique new model, after vanishing at the end of 2003. The ultra-luxury convertible was first produced in 1995, and it has been one of Bentley's most expensive models since.
The second generation Azure is distinguished by a more powerful engine and a refined transmission. Still a 6.8 liter V-8, the new twin-turbocharged power plant has been enhanced for 50 additional horsepower, now bringing the total to 450. The V-8 is mated to a new six speed automatic transmission.
The Bentley Azure is equipped like you might imagine a $200,000+ car to be, but Bentley also offers additional customization through their Mulliner coach building division. A classically styled, wood and leather-rich, handcrafted interior provides the foundation. Buyers then step in to make the Azure their own. Special touches include audio/visual systems, custom coloring for carpets/leather/veneers, a retractable Flying B mascot, and a rear backup camera for the standard navigation system.
