Hi there, Winter is fast approaching and I am in the market for snow tires as well as new rims. Any suggestions. Anyone have success with Tire Rack?

The RS line of cars was Audi's foray into supercar performance, though it only came as an Avant wagon in the late 1990s. 2007 marks the return of the RS4 as a sport racing sedan. Based on the A4 and S4, but with fewer standard features in an effort to reduce weight, the 2007 RS4 is the first RS without a turbo engine. Instead, it features a direct fuel injected 4.2-liter, 420-hp DOHC V8 with a 6-speed manual transmission. It's been clocked at 0-60 in 4.7 seconds. Torque distribution in the revamped quattro all-wheel drive is 40/60 front/rear, with peak torque at 7600 rpm. It features more aluminum body parts and a stiffer suspension than the sporty S4 and comes standard with dynamic ride control for a more balanced handling. The 2007 RS4 is distinguishable on the outside with flared fenders, borderline ostentatious oval exhaust pipes, wide 19-inch wheels, and an integrated rear spoiler. Another way that Audi kept down weight in this car is by not offering a spare tire. For good or bad, a repair kit is included instead. The 2007 RS4 hasn't sacrificed that many luxury conveniences in the name of weight, however. It is still loaded with personal luxury and comes standard with 10-way power-adjustable, heated leather Recaro sport seats, a sunroof, parking assist, remote locks, cruise control, and power tilt steering wheel. Options add on Bluetooth, automatic climate control, a navigation system, and heated rear seats. Great revving performance and exhaust noise accompany the smooth and awesome V8 power of the 2007 Audi RS4, according to owners and experts. This is a true sports car, but with the added benefit of Audi's quattro technology and refined engineering. It is also not as flashy as some supercars, for those who want more understated looks (to slip by undetected on the highway). The price tag and low fuel economy are the main complaints of owners, but nothing suprising for a high performance car.

I loved pretty much everything about this car. It had a real sporty feel, stiff suspension, great handling for a heavy car, great clutch feel, drove through any weather, and best of all its a sleeper. If you have to do any major services, they wont' be cheap. But outside of your major services, the car if very reliable. Feb 12, 2015

All around great car with a powerful v8 6 speed transmission, factory lowered and aggressive wide fenders give the car a beastly pitbull stance. Six years ownership and it still feels special. Fantastic build quality and materials that simply ages very well. It's not the best at everything it does, but as a package for living, driving, and enjoying automotive reality...it's overall balance, performance, and quality are unbeatable. It's the sort of car you can take on a cross-country run loaded up with four people and a full trunk and take detours throw curvy country lanes and have a great time. I took a spur of the moment trip this last January to the Detroit car show...three blizzards later I was reminded why quattro is such a good thing...dumb to make the drive on summer tires, but the all wheel drive kept me out of trouble. Gas mileage averages around 18 in mixed highway/city, the best highway mileage I've averaged has been around 24 mpg at around 70 mph.Mar 02, 2012

Everything my 2004 Audi S4 was but better. It is lighter, faster and nimbler. Everything was improved from braking, handling, weight distribution, and power. I had an option to get the Lexus IS-F, but because the Audi is AWD, and a rare breed - I had to go with it. May 27, 2011

Great Car! Acceleration given V8 420HP engine amazing, suspension
uniquie, Finish/build quality super. Great interior but as noted by many
center console/armrest needs to be raised to engage emergency parking
brake. Not great on gas but as expected. Loaded version so beautiful
carbon fiber interior molding, great leather seats.

Great car, looks good, attracts the female sex, although it's cheaper than an M5, it's quicker round a track. Relatively cheap to run, but can drink petrol when driving at insane speeds (which, when you own one of these, you have to). Fun to drive + fun to own. It knocked me out when I first drove it and 2 years on it still continues to do so.
Not cheap to buy or run, but the residuals are still high and hopefully will be better because the next RS4 will be in a different 'grunt' league. It'll be 'greener .... and that's good for the 'environment'!Aug 02, 2009

Comfort
The RS4 is a bit firm for all-out cruising, but you pay dividends when you want to go fast. Batwing seats can be a touch intimate for fatties and the engine is noisy, but that's noisy good, not noisy bad.
Performance
It shifts. You'll find 0-62mph in around five and a limited 155mph top speed plenty - in-gear times are the real eye-openers. The 4.2-litre, 414bhp V8 with direct-injection is one of the best engines in the world - just hear it rev...and rev... and rev.
Cool
Even though it's a little bit old, yes this is one cool car.
Quality
As close to Audi perfection as it gets.
Handling
The Avant loses a negligible amount of handling capability versus the saloon variant, so that means solid Quattro handling and supreme all-weather grip. Can be a bit boring if you want to power slide though.Dec 27, 2008

My Audi RS4 is quite possibly the best handling car i have ever driven in my life, it looks fantastic, especially in Sprint Blue Metallic, and the build quality is, as ever, sublime. Although the 4.2 litre V8 engine is thirsty, you can forgive it because of the gorgeous 19" seven spoke double slit alloys, the subtle yet butch Quattro-esque wheel arches and the body-hugging Recaro sports seats in the front.Sep 28, 2008

One word. Awesome. Great car, I will have another RS some day. This is a great car for Michigan weather. I would recommend this car to anyone. Sound is wonderful. My favorite moment driving this car was with a 2008 Corvette on East Paris. Not that I would recommend this to anyone. :)Aug 27, 2008

It is the best car I have owned so far. Engine is smooth yet powerful with no problems so far. The overall quality is good and the traction in winter unreachable. I can only recomend this car to anyone. Unfortuneatly the fuel consumption is a little high with 18 liter/100km in town and 14,5l /100km in average. Aug 13, 2008
