Write a reviewDon't let the four-cylinder engine scare you from the 2007 RDX, Acura's newest entry into the crossover market. A variable flow turbocharger gets the efficient 2.3 liter engine's horsepower up to 240, providing 260 lb-ft of torque at 4500 rpm.
Unfortunately, the 2007 RDX also gets gas efficiency more similar to that of a V6 car than an I4: 19 city and 23 highway. These numbers are still pretty great for an SUV.
The interior is decidedly cushy, and cozy without feeling small. The little SUV is built on the same platform at the Honda CR-V and seats 5. There are plentiful electronics in the dash for passengers to fiddle with.
Drivers of this car love the tight handling, although some have complained about the lag in switching to turbo. Others have commented that the brakes could be improved, but overall, most are enjoying their experiences with the 2007 RDX.

I'm really into this car. I hate the radio. It just doesn't go loud enough for me. Even though it automatically increases and decreases with the speed.

What a great vehicle. Bought it used and
it has been great. Drove it over 2500
miles to Texas a week after I bought it.
It is comfortable and the Turbo 4 runs
smooth and is very powerful. Sound System

Several paint defects on the exterior of the body. Also, I have a very annoying rattle somewhere in the middle console. Saleman was very rude and I will never go back. Enjoy the power of the Turbo very much.A gas guzzeler for sure.Jun 16, 2009

2.3L variable turbocharged, 240hp @ 6000rpm, 260 lb/ft @ 4500rpm, 0-100km/h in 6.6 secs. Super handling AWD, Amazing sports car like handling capability. Tech package i had was amazing, voice recognition. Great GPS that find resturants for you when you tell it what you want to eat. tell you the time when you ask. It's a tech freak's heaven. Lots of room. back seat folds flat. modern styling. Of course, being an Acura, it's about as reliable as a car can possibly get. I got it at $50,000 on the road. Great deal. Love this car since day 1... Still hv no issues after 14k... If I hv to purchase another car today.. I'd still take this over other make.... The only things I wish I hv in the 07 model is memory seat & Bluetooth, These're standard equipments included in 2008 model... Hoping to save enough $$$ for set of new rims & tires for next year.... Ave 21.5 with mid-cap and performance is impressive. Build quality is fairly good and no noticable issue within 20K miles. Large room for storage with foldable back seat, ideally for single or couple for long-range travel.Jul 11, 2008

It's so fast. Drives like a sports car, but handles the snow well too. It's turbo, but the gas mileage hovers around about 19 mpg, which is better than I expected. Really well appointed interior, nice storage space. Just a really well done car, especially for the money.Jun 27, 2008

Do both fan motors in the radiator operate at the same revolutions?
Back Story: My car overheated when the engine fan broke. I have replaced almost all cooling system in my car and still overheats. Parts replaced: -Engine fan -Engine motor that control the fan Stills get overheated (not at the point I need to stop). Replaced these others: -Radiator with new cap -Coolant reservoir -Thermostat -Coolant sensor -Relays that control the fans -New honda coolant Still overheats...( does not consume coolant also) My last guest i that probably the two motors that control the fans are the same since my mechanic told me that he replaced the A/C one with the old one of the engine motor fan. The engine fan has a new one. Could this be the reason my car still overheats? (It does not overheat at the point i need to stop). Next step? Open engine?
