All-wheel drive, leather seats, a stellar safety record, and 300 horses under the hood? What's not to like?
The turbocharged Volvo S60 R is certainly quite a package, especially when you shop it against other European sedans with similar amenities. Those who have compared before buying the S60 R found that they didn't have to pay extra for stuff that the competitor considered optional.
It's a fun, fast car with a commendable ride, although at 18 city/24 highway it doesn't win any prizes for efficiency. Still, that turbocharged stable will make the drive to and from work a little more fun, and you really can't put a price on that.
Several options packages were put together for this trim, grouped by themes such as Climate and Convenience. Still, the car is not fully decked-out without the Volvo Navigation System, a rather expensive option.

This is a car you will look forward to driving, its exciting fast fun to drive. The all wheel drive is great in snow and wet roads and pulls you through the tightest of corners wanting more fuel. It boasts some of the most comfortable seats. Its pretty tech savvy for a 2006-2007 era but lacking blue tooth connectivity. it docent miss a gas station with an average 18MPG. Its a turbo with out a boost gage bummer. Volvo designs its cars for a 25 year service life and it shows. This whip has 169,547 miles and it feels like i just drove it off the new car lot. Properly maintained Volvos have no problem achieving 300,000 miles. This car will not disappoint. Send the pedal to the floor and hold on to that wheel, thank me later!!!May 04, 2022

The performance of this car is fabulous and it's really fun to drive too! For being a "sports car" the gas mileage is really good. It's a beautiful car with a powerful engine. Under the hood: Volvo's powerful five-cylinder alloy engine w/DOHC variable valve timing for both the intake and exhaust camshafts, the 2.5-liter inline engine generates 300 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque, available at as low as 1,950 rpm. Twin intercoolers ease the load of the engine's turbocharger. The AWD system sends up to 50 percent more torque to the back wheels when needed, including the initial moments of takeoff. Six-speed Geartronic six-speed close-ratio manual gearbox with short-throw shift lever. Also, this car is still under warranty until the end of this year!Jul 05, 2011

My Volvo s60R just started to leave large oil spots on the ground. The undercarriage seems to have oil all over . I haven’t gotten a oil low light yet. But what is the most common cause? Did the jiffy lube ppl not give me the right oil..? Time for new gasket?
does anyone know of any problems with the suspension parts going bad prematurely? or if there have been any problems with the settings getting stuck in one setting, making it seem like there might be a problem with other parts?
