When I saw the 2006 ml330 on cars guru, i knew it was tbe car 4 me.

Its good for £20,000 as it has; leather seats, nav, 5 seats, multi disc changer,
electric heated front seats and heated rear seats. Mainly used for towing caravan.
Usually around 34-40mpg on motorways and around 27-34mpg in the middle of
town. Good car and well worth it May 15, 2011

is this car fun to drive, shame about the MPG, but hey, you can't have everthing !!!
Tax is now over £400.00, tyres are about £300 each - sat nav has never let me down (yet)

My 2006 Mercedes ML 500 is by far the best car I've ever
owned! Beautifully designed and engineered
to perfection. Quiet, responsive and luxurious; what more
could you want? Five years old and still looks and smells new.

Performance: slow on acceleration, handles nicely, but
it is SUV, so can't take turns like a sports car. Overall
comfort and safety is great, like a sofa on wheels. Gas
mileage is okay on highway, not great in town. And it
is big enough to haul stuff, dogs and kid junk. Plus it

The acceleration is amazing, you tap it and you fly forward. The Build quality is magnificent because the wood grain interior makes you feel like a king. The Cost of ownership is very cheap for this kind of car, only $650 a year. The fun factor is a 10 out of 5 because it's that much fun.Mar 07, 2009

After two years of owning this car, it still looks and runs as if new. Acceleration is powerful and the car handles like a sports car (especially with the use of the steering wheel mounted sheedshift paddles used to switch through the seven gears of the car). The interior is beautifully designed and still looks very fresh. The 302hp engine is very powerful and the car itself is nimble. Mercedes build quality is never the best though, and I have had to make numerous serice appointments for disfunctional head/taillamps and minor problems.Apr 18, 2008

This is a computer on wheels. I don't think anything is mechanically connected. You have something equivalent to a turn signal indicator for shifting into P, D, R, N. I don't like that, if one thing breaks, the whole car becomes useless, which we found out when a mouse got to the wiring. It is also very expensive to fix. Jan 14, 2008

ESP light on at 85 kmh
I have had this for a while now on my MB w164 280cdi. When accelerating to around 80 the ESP light comes on and the car decelerates automatically as the ESP kicks in. This happens especially when going around even a slight bend on. No error ESP codes on OBDII, no ABS fault code, alignment ok, tires ok. Steering angle sensor new. Wheel speed sensors read ok - all 4 same speed. Now would could it be?
