Floor wet front back and both sides
The floors front and back, on both sides have been wet. Any idea where the leak might be? It seems wetter in front, but I usually park it on an incline.

Production numbers are up and sales have expended for 2005, but the Scion xA is otherwise carried over from the previous model year. The new tC coupe joined the xA and xB in the Scion lineup this year, but the subcompact xA remains as the lowest priced model.
The xA comes with a nice selection of features, considering the low price. Standard equipment includes a Pioneer CD audio system, full power accessories, air conditioning and keyless entry. Safety features include ABS and front head airbags. Scion has been defined by the high level of customization. Many of the dealer-installed items are appearance enhancements, like 18-inch wheels in a variety of styles, and exterior body kits. Entertainment upgrades like subwoofers and satellite radio are also available.
Like the xB, the xA is powered by a 1.5 liter inline four, which generates 108 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard and a four-speed automatic is optional. The fuel economy is estimated at 32/37 mpg with the manual.
Initial reactions to the styling of the Scion lineup was mixed, despite great intrigue by all. For those with more traditional tastes, the look of the xA might be a bit easier to swallow than the xB. And although the xA doesn't feature the same delivery truck shape as its kin, owners have still commented on the surprising space for such a compact car. The xA's ride is a bit stiff, and drivers do not have access to an overdrive setting or cruise control. Drivers also reported plenty of pickup at highway speeds, but some hesitation between 40 and 50 mph.

I absolutely loved this car. my plan was to take home that day, I was wanting to buy it for my daughter as she is turning 16 in a year and wanted to get her a vehicle early that she can pratice driving in since my big pickup truck is a bit intimidating to her to drive. She loved it too but yeah sadly my credit kinda sucks at the moment, so Im going to have to save up for a car for her, so I couldnt bring it home like I had hoped. The interior looked brand new, the outside paint job was to be expected for a 15 year old car, where rocks and debris from the freeway hit the engine hood a lot over the years chipping lil pieces of paint off and same around the door handles, from just wear and tear from the weather etc. I test drove it and it has outstanding performance, its manual, so u can really make it get up and go, and the sporty after market wheels on it make it a catchy lil ride, also the sunroof was a definite plus. I will envy the person who ends up buying it, cant beat the price of the car for only having just under 65,000 miles on it. Apr 24, 2020

This car has been a real reliable work horse for me for a decade now. I drive well over 400 miles a week and need to depend on a car to get me to work and back home and I can truely say I have absolutely no regrets about buying this XA...none! I don't think I would have been happy with the Automatic transmission ...with the 5 speed it really can get up and go when I need it to...well enough for me. The only reasons I own a car really are to get to work and get out to find places to explore and I have always been able to rely on this little bugger!Jan 31, 2015

I like everything about this car except its lack of comfort for long trips. I haven't driven it more than an hour one way on more than one occasion, but I am used to cruise control. The front seats have good lumbar support and the cup holders and other items all conveniently placed. The radio is nice! Great sound for an economy vehicle.Jan 17, 2013

Overall I am pleased with the vehicle. The good fuel economy and low maintenance have made for low vehicle expenses. It is an easy vehicle to do the routine tune-up work on. It is a fun vehicle to drive and has a good stereo system. The only problem I had was with the camshaft system, which had some problems with seals and oil leakage. With the exception of repairing that, there have been no other repairs needed on the vehicle. Nov 20, 2011

hatchback!!!!!!!!!!! 4 cylinder!!!!!! nothing more needs to be said.. hatchback!!!!! as far as perf goes its got a great 0-60 time off the line. and toyota makes good cars! the cost of the car was a bit more then i was hoping to spend. 15000 for a hatchback!!!!!!mnDec 01, 2008

My xA has to be one of the slowest cars on the planet, but it handles like a kart. It's basically a Toyota so it's built like one. Meaning it will run for many years to come and, at four years old, still feels like a new car. It also gets great gas mileage (around 32 with my lead foot).
I love how it looks. Everyone likes the xB, but the xA looks like a pugnacious little rally car to me.
Driving it is, well, fun, I guess. It's really not made to be driven hard so I can't expect it to put a grin across my face like a 2002ii might.
Cost to operate is very low. Just gas and oil changes is all that it's needed so far (knock on wood).Nov 29, 2008

Bought this car new in July of 2004. It is a Toyota product so you know the quality is there. The sticker said gas mileage was around 38mpg on the hwy and I get around 35. I only have 52,XXX miles on it but the only thing I have done is give it an oil change every 5,000 miles. For a car with a small 4 banger it really does have some "get up and go" when you hit the gas.Sep 27, 2008

05 scion can quarter panels
How do I replace the passenger side front and rear quarter panels? It looks like I can't because from what it seems because it looks as if the whole body is one one piece and looks as if you can't just remove the quarter panel only. Please tell me I'm wrong and how I can if possible.
