This car is terrible. I just bought it and the heating system won't defrost the windows never mind keep the car warm. I have now heard from others that it is terrible to cool in summer as well. Don't buyNov 24, 2010

This is my old folks' car, and they're very satisfied with it. I had a chance to drive it only once, and I must say it handles nicely. No technical problems with it so far at all, except for the battery which needed to be changed recently.Jan 06, 2008

Why my car steering is hard?
I have a Nissan X-Trail of 2005 model. My car is in very good condition but the steering is hard. While my car's speed lower than 20 km/h in turning the steering gets too hard. With more than 20 km/h speed the steering is easy enough. Can you help me about it.

05 Nissan X- Trail, Is there an issue (in Canada) with loose intake butterfly screws?
Hello I'm a newbie here, considering buying an X-Trail wondering if this car that is made in Canada has this issue, many in Australia apparently had this problem which ruins the engine if they come loose, does any one know if this is an issue in This country, I can't find info,. on it for Canada. I test drove a "red" one today and loved it but need info prior to purchasing. Or any other reason I shouldn't get this vehicle? Thanks for any advice. ccrew
