The ML has all the features you really need without crossing into features that will break. The MLs are a great value since they will easily get to 300,000 miles. They are missing nothing major although a good upgrade is a backup camera. Easy comparison is a better on road G wagon, 4Runner and Wrangler, these have a better name off road but the ML will go 80% of the way these will off-road but will be far more comfortable in daily living on roads. I was taking clients out and they had a fantastic new jeep. My partner said to them, nice car! They said, yes, but it doesn't touch yours... the look and perception of this Mercedes is very luxurious, they had just paid over $50,000 but they thought I had the superior car.Jan 22, 2014

A great SUV. Of course fuel efficiency is not great. I feel very safe in this vehicle. Use it to go from FL to VT and the handling on the highway is great. We have actually taken it off road on some VT trails and it handles great.Aug 10, 2009

Too much power steering fluid
I have a 2005 Mercedes ML350 that I bought about a year and a half ago. The only thing I have had to do is pick t seems like every two months I need to add power steering fluid (I only need to put like half the of the little bottle )well I put some in yesterday morning because it was starting to make that noise it normally does when I need it. I had a partial bottle left over and went ahead and put it Allen. Unfortunately I didn’t check the gauge at the time. Well I was out of town also. Later that day I went to drive back home (about 3 1/2 hour drive) and it was make a knocking noise. Well I drove home anyway and it is still making the knocking noise but a little worse. I just checked the oil and power steering fluid and the power steering fluid is really full almost to the top of the reservoir. Would that cause the knocking noise?
