My Audi A3 won't start
The car it start at 1st then shut off.......then will just crank until it shows oil light........Please help me

Nice Car to Drive. Very smooth and comfortable. Ample room for 4 and fuel. Good looking car in black and overall build quality is very good. Dont get to drive it much as I live abroad but its my toy for when I'm in the UK Oct 18, 2011

Great ride, great performance. It is a 2.0, 150hp with enough punch you'll believe you are in a sports car. The only downside is the build quality but after 5 years it is expected to have some failing components. It is practical and it is a good looking car.Mar 15, 2011

Love everything about this car. quality performance 0-60 in 1 second ha ha - looks stunning and the cd's is loud especially with an Osmonds CD in it. ha ha .

- performance - takes a second or two to go but when it takes off it flies. Brakes are awesome, handling is fantastic.
- All the finishes are done so precisely.
- Inerior is stunning but the exterior is absolutely stunning

It is a great car always start never had a problem or break down. Pity it isnt all that powerfull.
It tells me when it needs maintenance, had only 3 services so far and no need to go to the garage in between.
it is the 1.9 tdi engine, next time i would buy a stronger engine.Apr 21, 2009

Ich bin mit dem Auto sehr zfrieden.
Wenn ich das Fahrzeug selber bestellt hätte, hätte es ein paar Sachen anders als dies bei meinem Audi A3 Sportback ist. Habe schon ein paar Sachen geändert. Aber nur dezent. Habe die hinteren Scheiben tönen lassen sowie Tagfahrlicht vom Audi S6 einbauen lassen... Hammer!! Es ist der 2l TDI. mit DSG und ich habe freude an diesem Fahrzeug.Nov 04, 2008

my car is fast blows every one off without trying an gets me to work on time haha! i bought it in 20006 and av never had a problem with it. shes beautifull an good to me. an as never let me down! its is a little exspensive to keep coz of its big engine. it is a smart looking car inside and out its colour is silver. its solid and needs no repairs.Jul 20, 2008

Love the overall appearane of my car...the big mouth grill, nice rounded behind....

The 3.2L V6 is a fantastic engine which sits perfectly with the DSG gearbox.
The only issue is that this does cost a lot on fuel with a yearly average of approx 22 MPG.
The build quality has been fantastic and after 3 years it is still as solid as day one with no rattles or bits falling off (touch wood!)
I would think twice about buying another Audi without Quattro as this is fantastic on 'A' roads in horrible weather. The only thing that I think needs improving is the suspension as this is very harsh on some journeys however not as bad as my Mini Cooper S used to be as it had run flat tyres.Jan 05, 2008

ESP & Flashing ECL
So I was driving on the motorway the other day, 3 days after buying my Audi A3 off a private seller.. Driving down the motorway we decide to see what we can get out of it, got to 90mph & the car started slowing down. A few seconds later the ESP light came on the bam in a second The ECL starter flashing & I didn't know what to do, managed to drive the car home, started it up the next day & the car in Nuetral was very juddery tried to drive & it drove & it sounded load, still with the ESP on constantly & flashing ECL. The car has literally has no pull to it ... could it be my head gasket as that what the garage have said but when I spoke to Audi over the phone they said it sounds like something to do with the sensor or something like that ..... I'm going out of my mind & need a little help ... please please if anyone could help me out & point me in the right direction.. The car is at the garage now awaiting a test It's already had a diagnostic test & it's saying a fault with number 3 or something. No idea .. I'm worried
