2004 cavalier 2.2 Dashlights dimly lit with no dome light on when door is opened. When key is inserted and turn to the on position everything goes dead wont even turn over. Left it alone for 15min. Tried again and everything worked normally til I turned the car off. Checked battery and battery cables and there good. I'm thinking maybe something electrical like a fuse or ignition switch maybe a bad ground wire Please help
how do i change the whole shifter
After getting the power steering fluid return line replaced, the gear shift seems to have moved 'down'. The car acts like it's in park when in Reverse, Reverse in Neutral, Neutral in Drive, and Drive while set to third, ect. The car is an automatic. I'm wondering if we can reset it, or if the car is preparing to give out on us.
Shifter wont lock in gear and not starting because of this problem how do i fix this little goodie ?
