I have just bought a second hand vehicle. Beautiiful to look at - a very nice RED colour. I just realised that the bod - the front right fender ( side ) is so soft - what is this made of? Or is this an accident car which has been repaired?Jun 02, 2010

Mine was Black with privacy windows, and lighted roof rails
(Very Lara Croft) - Known as a Sport - X, 2.2 TD.
I loved this car.......4 years of fun.
Versatile, never stuck, always had the pulling power.
Only a few grumbles along the way, but nothing major.
I'm in a CRV now, and do miss the X-Trail sometimes.Feb 19, 2010

Performance-Very good for long runs
Build Quality-Fragile sides but not heavy looking
Appearance-Good but need more space
Cost of Ownership-Appreciably better
Fun Factor- Not so much
We liked it as our first car, helps a lot, been with us through all these years, part of our family ;) Nov 18, 2009

One boxy looking car, but lots of fun to drive. It combines
the grace of a figure skater and the grunt of a bear, both
in a very mild sense, though. It is like a very mild espresso
- not to soft to make it like a gassed out soft drink, and not
too strong to make you constipate. A very plasticky
interior, but you don't mind all that once you set your food
on the pedal. The automatic is a good buyJun 22, 2009

Best in-class compact 4WD, free reving powerful 2.4L engine, x-pack inclusions, large flat bed cargo space with multiple tie down points, chilled drink holders, heaps of cabin storage. Clutch overheats when 4WDing on sand.Jul 07, 2008
