03 Lincoln ls v8, leak in the notch on the thermostat housing under full cap!

I have a 03 Lincoln ls v8 and it was overheating. Anti freeze was spraying out and we replaced the thermostat housing but there seams to be a leak where the thermostat housing is under the fill cap comeing out of a "notch" underneath there. All three parts old and new ones have the same notch. My question is how can I fix this problem without it being so hard and expensive and why is that notch on there?? Thank u

I have a 2003 Lincoln that is jerking bad between gears. Hoping its not the transmission. tester said first cylinder (spark plug) as per parts store. would a bad spark plug make it jerk between gears.

Lincoln mechanic says there testers showed 02 censor bad. Napa showed cylinder 1 bad. My automatic v8 jerks between gears, Hoping not the transmission. can a bad spark plug make it jerk between gears while driving??

I have a Lincoln LS that won't start but the battery is fully charged.

The engine will sit there and turn over all day long, but doesn't actually "come to life". My room mate is pretty mechanically inclined, and I am not so shabby myself. I can change the coil packs no problem as I am sure anyone else who owns this car can. Here is the deal. I ran my car two days before this started happening with absolutely zero problems. Two days later I come out and the battery is completely dead. I charge it for 4 to 5 hours. As I am charging the car the first few times the horn & lights start to flash. After I put the key in the ignition to get those to stop I left the car to charge. I come back to it and all the normal bells and whistles come to life (lights, seat, steering wheel, etc). Turn the ignition and the car won't completely come on it is like it is trying to turn over but doesn't completely get there. From all my reading the past couple of days on this issue I am thinking there might be a problem with the PATS. Could this possibly be the case? Possibly the Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch?

03 Lincoln LS v6 battery died?

Well I was driving the car every time I got in it it would turn over and start no problem. My rear-view mirrors would constantly adjust themselves and I couldn't get them to stop but the battery died and I charged it back up. I put the battery in hooked up the hot and the ground . The trunk light come on so I figured everything is alright. When I open my driver's door the alarm went off for about 2 or 3 seconds I got in the car and try to start it. Nothing.... My red security light inside on the dashboard was blinking now the only thing that happens when the key is turned on is seat belt light or I believe that's what it is it's yellow. Car won't start won't do anything.
