Nice size for around town driving and running errands.Handling and AWD feel solid. I like the looks but not the maintenance cost. I have to keep this car for a while to get some return on my money after completely rebuilding the engine. It's too small for a real SUV - more like a runabout.Jul 15, 2014

The car is expensive to maintain,but when running well,a joy to drive and will go anywhere a 4x4 would go. Powerful 2.5L v6 great audio system..a really nice package! Closest dealership 1.5 hours away! Still like it!Jan 08, 2012

Just perfect for the small family, We've toured extensively and the car is a sure-footed, perfect touring vehicle. We've had her high up in the mountains and in the Canadian snow. Across the Mohave desert and in New York city traffic. She's our all-purpose go-everywhere funtastic little SUV.Dec 13, 2011

ah can be reliable and expensive to fix always handy for transporting
things AND PASsengers is good for having a better view of the road not
very agile easy to drive although gear box and handling can be difficult

This car is the worst car I've owned. I had it for 14 months and during that time it speant 3 months at the garage getting a total engine rebuild.
The car had the following problems:
- Bust head gasked
- A crack in the head causing coolant to seep inte the number 3 and 4 cylinders.
- Continous condensation, creating a small pool of water in the boot.

It was the best of any during winter. My one complaint was that the design of the seats were uncomfortable. I didn't feel it was the best quality but because it was pre-owned, I am not sure if it was because of mis-use or bad quality- I had to repair major parts before any reasonable time had passed.
However. I thanked the performance in winter when it was the only vehicle that made it up certain roads and driveways.... including other 'better' suv's and 4x4 trucks Jun 26, 2008

The Land Rover by its own name is a master piece, gr8 to drive off road, very

I think this is the best car in its category. Exterior design is exactly what I want - good-looking, functional, nothing extravangant, but you notice it in the street. Interior is not the nicest, but user friendly - even if the boot is not very large. but there is one big BUT: with this car you spend a lot of time in service - generally nothing serious, but it`s annoying. And for example in Czech Republic servicing is quite expensive.
