Dodge did not make many changes to the Durango in 2003, as it was preparing for a new generation in 2004. Notable changes this year include making 16-inch wheels and 4-wheel disc brakes standard on all trims.
Trims remained the same for the 2003 Durango. The Sport, SLT, SLT Plus, and SXT models all came standard with a 5-speed automatic transmission and a 4.7-liter, 235-hp, V8 engine, a tough, fuel-efficient engine and powertrain combo that could tow more than 7,000 pounds and still get off the line quickly. For even better acceleration and sport tuning, the R/T performance trim included a behemoth 5.9-liter, 245-hp V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic.

I have an 03 Dodge Durango slt and I put an Engine out of an 02 both have 4 plugs one day it had a miss but was undetected by the obd so I tried putting the 02 PCM and couldnt start the engine so I put the orignal PCM back in and right then the ABS light came on flashing I have brand new tires all matching and the code says the tire sizes dont match and bad tooth count? what happened?
Security light and headlights flashing but motor runs
Sometimes during the start up on my 4.7 it has momentary roughness. When increasing RPM it clear up. It will run great for some time, Then when not expected,momentary roughness. Put car in park, raise the RPM and it again clears up. Not sure of problem.
