Thi car handles nicely, has lots of power, great sound system and a quiet ride. It is fun to drive. Heated seats are very nice in the winter. Air conditioning works great. Really like the fold down rear seats for storage.Oct 25, 2014

Has all the bells and wistles. Leather seats, heated seats, sun roof, tinted windows, amazing sound system. Handles good, car is solid, not much plastic. Has lots of power, being a sports model sedan/family car. Lots of space/storage. Folding seats.Apr 09, 2012

built and bought in germany and then shipped here
exhaust mounted twin turbos
flawless rear end
as far as cost goes its quite expensive for parts
most of the parts i get have to be specially shipped from germany (body parts mostly)
go through tires very very quickly (not cheap)Aug 20, 2008

S light on Dashboard panel surrounded by circle/gear shape & other questions
Hi, I just bought a 2001 Catera sport 135,000 last week. Today I had to call triple AA to start the battery which was new in May. The AAA man indicated that he was concerned about a possible fuel pump problem, but it did start after charging the battery. The speedometer is broken-the seller said it needs a new sensor, but the mechanic he used told me he had already replaced it and informed the seller. The "S" just came on after the AAA man came to help me. It is surrounded by a circle that looks like a gear. Any information and advice is needed and welcome! Thank you

Why does the interior lights in my catera come on by themselves
My 2001 Catera interior flooring became flooded. It was not from inclement weather, and it was suggested that possibly the heater was leaking. Now the interior lights come on by themselves. Does anyone know why this maybe happening? Also, my anti theft lock on my radio has been activated since the water issue, does anyone have the code to unlock it?

Speedometer not working
Yesterday took my catera to tire dealer to replace all four tires when I picked up car the speedometer and tachometer no longer work the milage counter still works and the speedometer drops below zero and flutters
